Stopped along our way back and happy we did. There is lots of coffee stand in Alaska but we liked our server here. We tried a lotus soda that was recommended and is now currently our favorite. The picture is of the suggested star spangle banner smoothie (super good). The building and parking area is nicely maintained with spots to park to enjoy ur drink/food. I didnt get a picture of the extras menu but they did have pups treat listed.

I stopped by The Bean Barn for the first time this morning and was blown away! The lady at the window was super friendly and helped me choose from their menu. I tried the biscuits and gravy, which were delicious, and a dirty chai latte that was still hot when I got to work. I loved that their food options on the menu are homemade. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their unique items. If you’re in the area, stop by – you won’t be disappointed!

The best coffee shop on Earth.
They don’t just have your run of the mill coffee shop food like ham and cheese croissants and muffins. Well, they do have those too but everything is better there. They make their own muffins for example and have unique delicious flavors. They also have rotating lunch specials like the roast beef sandwich, soups, and more. Their food is soooo good. Really great breakfast or lunch option in the vine/pittman/meadow lakes area. Their chicken salad sandwich on croissant bread is fantastic too. Also, you can add their homemade aioli on any of their breakfast sandwiches.
I haven’t even covered their coffee yet. They just do everything so good. Their bean barn cold brew is delicious. They have weekly coffee specials and always have unique flavors not offered at your standard coffee shop.
For energy drink lovers, they have delicious redbull italian sodas (also have unique flavors, they use better quality syrup) and their new plant based monin energy concentrate is really good too.
Oh yeah and their baked goods are homemade and delicious.

So happy I live near Bean Barn 🙂 Even if I didn’t I would go out of my way to get them. A caliber above your average local coffee shop–their drinks taste better and their food is miles and miles ahead of any other coffee shop I’ve had.
Tourists: stop here for breakfast or lunch on your way driving up to Fairbanks, Talkeetna, or Denali! Alaska coffee shops are everywhere…but this one is the best of the best 🙂

I seriously love this place. The coffee is always perfect, the staff are so sweet. It’s my little daily treat, and I’d choose it over any big chain any day.

For a little less than $20, we received two breakfast sandwiches. They were prepared fresh on the spot by friendly and courteous staff. My wife was pleased to be able to enjoy a gluten-free option.
We are looking forward to trying other things on the menu during our return visits.

Wife and I stopped on the road to fairbanks, and the coffee was wondeful! I got the americano and she got the dark mocha. They both came out perfectly, and the next time we’re in town we’ll definitely be stopping by. The barista was also very kind, and a pleasure to talk to.
