Our seasonal, rotating plates focus on fresh ingredients & local goods. Best decision ever for my birthday dinner. Wanted a place with a good dessert menu. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. Also had osso bucco which is only served on Saturdays – incredible. They also have kombucha – bonus!
We are silverware snobs and I can’t think of a restaurant that has better silverware. Even special small ones for dessert
Then we found out the pasta is made with flour from Italy which typically does not trigger my gluten sensitivity so we decided to take some of that to go to try later.
We will be making more trips to Boone in order to eat at The Beacon!

We hosted our wedding dinner reception at the Beacon Butcher Bar, and everything was absolutely phenomenal! From the beautiful, inviting space to the incredibly delicious food and impeccable service, they exceeded every expectation we had.
Dinner was served family style, and the menu was to die for — our guests raved about the variety and bold flavors in each dish. The team at Beacon truly knows how to create a memorable dining experience.

The ambience was absolutely sending. The server was very helpful. I liked hearing about the wine of four course meal that they have coming up. We selected the lobster pasta. It was a little salty for our liking, but the lobster was very juicy flavorful and you need it with each bite. Lobster size was very decent.

The service is great, the atmosphere is great, however there needs to be some education on seafood. We ordeeed the bread basket but for an Italian threaded restaurant they are out so we had to order the prawns. Prawns are LARGE shrimp that could almost resemble a small lobster. What was served for the appetizer was no more than an 16/20 shrimp. The pasta does not have much flavor as far as “sauce”. The steak is wonderful but ala carte with no real sides so we decided to order another enter to make up for the less than sauced pasta. I plan my trips around food and I WANT to come back to places. This place however, I have no desire to return to. And I am the person who will go cross country for food that I love.

My girlfriend’s and I had our first experience at The Beacon last night and it was phenomenal. The roasted chicken was excellent and had the perfect amount of spice. My girlfriend wanted the Branzino fish but without the sweet potato sauce, so the chef put it on the side for her. Very nice.
Our waiter, Michael, and the sommelier, Mattie, were great! I was surprised to find such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable sommelier in Boone. Lol

I recently visited this restaurant in Boone, NC, and it truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the host went above and beyond to find us seating despite the place being fully booked that night. We ended up at the bar, where the bartender doubled as our waiter and provided excellent service.
The food was absolutely delicious. Although my steak initially came out overcooked, our attentive waiter promptly addressed the issue and brought me a perfectly cooked replacement. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her pasta, and after tasting it myself, I can confirm it was delightful. We also indulged in a few expertly crafted cocktails, prepared with evident pride by the female bartender – they were simply perfect.
Despite arriving close to closing time, the service remained phenomenal. I would not hesitate to dine here again if I’m in the area, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a great place to eat. Thank you to the entire team for such an amazing night. Keep up the fantastic work!

Dining at the Beacon is a ABSOLUTE MUST if you find yourself in the Boone area. From the moment our party was greeted at the door, we were provided exceptional service and attention that allowed for my guests and I to completely relax and enjoy the experience. Everyone at the table raved over the presentation, taste, and creativity of their dishes, with each bite being savored. This is a restaurant that strives to go beyond tasty food, that welcomes all and makes each person feel special. The Beacon has become my favorite local restaurant and my instant recommendation to anyone looking for a top-notch dinner experience.

We ordered an array of dishes and everything we tried was beyond amazing! The bison meatballs were so good we ordered a second round to go! The atmosphere was relaxing and added to the overall experience! We look forward to returning the next time we are in the area!

We were in Boone for a few nights and while having breakfast at Betty’s Biscuits on King St., we learned about the Beacon Butcher Bar & saved it to Google Maps.
Upon entering The Beacon, the first thing you notice is how beautifully this restaurant is appointed. The tables, chairs, colors….comfortable but very attractive layout.
Our server Braeden was really nice and patient as we tried to decide on what to eat.
My husband ordered the lamb chops and I enjoyed the soppressata pizza with Calabrian oil and we also had the citrus and fennel salad. Everything was flavorsome!
Emma (the hostess) is a sweetheart!
She’s part of their catering team. Something you must check out if you are planning a party. I would have them do a wedding if we were local.
Don’t hesitate, reserve a table at The Beacon.
