I’ve been going past this place for years and we finally made the stop in before going to Hometown market. We wanted salty and sweet so we tried the Hometown Hero which comes with your choice of pancakes or French toast, two eggs, home fries or hash-browns, two bacon or sausage, toast and your choice of coffee or juice all for $15. We also tried the chorizo hash and French toast. All the food was hot and delicious and the server was very friendly. We would definitely like to come back and try lunch and dinner.

Place has that hometown feeling, where everyone knows each other.
Service was good and the food exceeded expectations, this is not some fancy restaurant it’s basic American food with a little flair, they have more than the typical diner fare.
If you are picky, may not be the place for you, but don’t “knock it till you try it”
We enjoy our meals and the service provided.

Excellent! Everything was perfect. Fun little spot that popped up out of nowhere.
When we got a menu I saw swordfish and Hawaiian breakfast platters. In the middle of PA.
I got the Cuban Grinder that was amazing with the soft sub roll instead of the normal pressed bread of most Cubans.
Mozzarella sticks were pretty good, great cheese pull. They would have been better if the oil was fresher.
She had the Asian wrap “herb seasoned grilled chicken” clashed a bit with the other flavors, but was good.
Rice pudding 10/10
Baklava 10/10
Would love to go back sometime and try the poutine.

Me and my family ordered burgers well done, they were pink. Portions are the size for a child. I think a toddler could eat more. Their whole made Mac and cheese I got off the kids menu for my son looked like craft Mac n cheese. Service was slow also.

I typically go there for breakfast in for breakfast I would give them basically four stars the reason why I would give them four stars is because typically you have a waitress that has an attitude. Went there for dinner tonight because it was my birthday it was either Two hostesses or one Hostess that wasn’t paying attention. Some things you don’t say on the floor in front of customers. One very kind young lady told customers to go sit in the booth in the back then the original Hostess that was there I believe her name was Polly somebody asked her about drinks for that table she says well I think they sat themselves they can wait. That is very unprofessional. I don’t care how busy it is what pressure you under there is some things you just don’t say in front of customers I don’t care what type of business it is. My BLT Club was good but the Mayo had a fishy taste. My husband ordered the smothered chicken with the turkey bacon on top the turkey bacon was not cooked and when he scraped all that off because it was nasty he could not even eat the chicken you can definitely tell that the mashed potatoes where are boxed mashed potatoes. I don’t know what’s going on with these restaurants lately but I think they’re sacrificing quality of food

The Thanksgiving Day sandwich was the best I ever tasted. Even better then my own!
Real Turkey, not deli meat. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce. I used a fork & knife!
We will be back in a few weeks for another one. If I lived closer it would be weekly I’m sure!
My husband always gets breakfast & loved his meal also!
The second visit wasn’t as good as the first visit.
We as usual we’re not giving the two minute check back because I would have loved some more cranberry sauce & a side of gravy.
The waitress didn’t ask if everything was ok, didn’t check on us at all!
Never asked if we would like anything else, just left the check when we were done.
Not friendly at all!
The women who sat us & took our drink order & set us up with place settings & was super nice & was sorry the tip was left for the waitress that didn’t want to be there!
I was a waitress & we worked for our tips, maybe she didn’t need extra?
So sad that waitresses forget why they are working or who they are working for!
