Such a great place. When ever I’m on this side of town, especially in the morning. I love to stop by. They have the best coffee and the food is amazing. Sorry for the empty plate. But it was that good. I had over easy eggs, corn patty with cheese and sweet plantains with coffee. Oh and cheese bread yummy! I normally get Bandeja plate so you should try that too.

I visited Marines Empanadas on Saturday 26th of July, and had mixed feelings about the experience. When I walked in, no one greeted me or offered to seat me, which immediately gave a negative first impression. The lack of attention from the staff continued throughout the visit — I had to call the waiter over just to pay the bill.
On the positive side, the food was good, flavorful and well-prepared. It’s clear that the kitchen puts effort into the food, but the front-of-house service could use serious improvement.

my family and i have visited marine’s pretty regularly for ten or eleven years. the food is always fresh, service is fast and friendly, music and ambiance are pleasant, and it’s also incredibly affordable even with a recent change in prices. absolutely love it here, hope to continue visiting for many more years to come!

We had some appetizer empanadas and regular empanadas. We tried the Hawaiian, Texas BBQ, Chicken and Beef. They were all delicious! You will definitely be full with two. We also shared a plate that had a little bit of everything. I would definitely recommend them. The staff is very friendly and spoke Spanish as well. The space is very clean and the music playing gives it a nice “outdoor” feel. We would gladly visit again.

Most of the Colombian Restaurants in Houston have decent food and Marines is one of them. The food is fresh and well prepared. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa and it was amazing. I like the combination of the food on that entree and that is why I normally order the same. A friend of mine ordered the chicken and he also mentioned it was good.
