Had a delicious dinner with impeccable service and unbelievable views. Sunset of the frozen bay with the lighthouse in the distance, amazing. The food was delicious, steak frites with some of the best truffle parm fries I’ve eaten. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, with their dipping sauce and cranberries, it was a nice twist on roasted sprouts. The walleye was flaky and cooked to perfection. Last but not least the mixed drinks and mocktails were great. And happy hour prices hard to beat! We will definitely be back.

The mustard salmon was excellent, and i do not even like mustard or especially mustard seeds. But I liked them in this dish, they were like little bursts of joy in my mouth. The walleye was really good too we went back for a second visit.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend that went with me is a chef and is a food snob, and even he said this was the best he has had. We were seated right away, the resteraunt was empty and we got a seat next to an amazing view. Best valentines day date ever!

Started off with the lobster bisque. It had a strong tomato flavor to it, thick like paste and extremely salty as it tasted like base. Server notice we didn’t eat it so she replaced with onion soup. It was good, except not really hot. Ordered the mussles and the truffle fries for appetizers. Mussles were outstanding as was its presentation, truffle fries had no truffle oil lots of cheap cheese on top and coated with salt. Unedible! Took 25 minutes for our appetizers as was only one server on for lunch. I noticed the typo on the menu. OMG. The dish said it was with a cutlet but never said what kind of cutlet ie pork chicken, beef. How can this happen to a restaurant in this day and age? Anyways… I ordered an olive burger my wife ordered the Woodward salad. Somehow she put the order in for two salads but I ordered the Olive Burger. My daughter-in-law ordered the skirt steak sandwich, what a rip off. Four slices of overcooked meat, I think 21 bucks. My son ordered a burger with bacon and caramelized onions. I think the burger was 5 oz at best. Both sandwiches came with store-bought potato chips. Come on guys it’s the 21st century. Long story short, the meal was 150 bucks of garbage. Don’t go there if you treasure your pocketbook. I’m retired corporate chef for a Fortune 500 company and I know my stuff. This place needs a consultant quickly before it goes out of business. Please don’t write me back with a pathetic we’re so sorry type note. Don’t offer me money off to come back. What you can do is write me won’t you got your act cleaned up having more than happy to try it again. Hopefully all these deficiencies and errors have been corrected by then.

Attended on a Saturday night, glad we had a reservation. The food was not worth the prices in our parties opinion. The grits were completely flavorless and the salad was just ok. The crab cake was delicious! Our waitress offered to bring cucumbers out for our toddler when we were told that they didn’t have any saltines – they added them to the bill which we thought was a bit silly. The view was definitely what made this restaurant worth it.

Had such a wonderful experience! Madison was an absolutely fantastic server — so friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The view overlooking Little Traverse Bay was breathtaking, and the food was just as incredible. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Me and a friend arrived at about 1:00 on a Sunday there was no one there to greet us or a bartender which was no problem so we waited a few minutes for our server to realize we were there. We were sat at a table with a beautiful view. We were given both brunch and lunch menus and ordered a coffee and water.
Our waitress was fine, not overly attentive which is a great thing but never came back to ask us how the food was. Which is why overall the service was a three star.
The place was near empty, which is to be expected on a Sunday in the offseason after the brunch hours.
The food was pitiful. We ordered a steak sandwich and a burger both with fries (so $30 a plate give or take). The steak sandwich came out on lukewarm bread, mildly warm steak, and a freezing glob of burrata cheese on top. Overall a very strange experience for a steak sandwich. The peppercorn aioli just disappeared as it ran off the odd sandwich. The ice cube cheese was so off putting. We were both hungry so we cleaned our plates and I think like most people these days if given the opportunity we’re likely not going to say anything even if our server asked.
The burger was mediocre, and for a $25 burger you wish that you could at least remember it. Everything besides the view was just lack luster. In the future I would try and spend my money elsewhere and if push came to shove I would eat at home.
