A lively location for dinner, but it took an hour and a half for our meal to be served after ordering. The two steaks were well done instead of medium rare, but they did refire them. My mahi mahi was exquisite. This is the second time that we have eaten here, but will probably not come back due to the long wait for food. Seems like theycater more to the drinking crowd than to diners. Too bad because the food and the location are both wonderful. Oh yeah, and we had to keep asking for the bill.

Well, this place was highly recommended to us so we decided to try it… We are here looking at properties in Catalina. We got there and it was very busy but we were seated within five minutes. Our server however, Gabriel, was horrible because my wife was not feeling well. We didn’t want an appetizer we didn’t want alcoholic beverages. We just wanted a meal when he found that out he ignored us. We waved him down three or four times, eye contact was made, and he still ignored us. The manager came and took our order, she knew we were upset. I’m assuming it was a manager she saw that we looked upset. Add pretty much we left pissed off. We never saw Gabrielle again after getting our meal. . He never checked to see how the food was or if we needed anything else maybe another drink, etc. I finally got the busser to bring me the bill and a go box unfortunately for this establishment we probably will not return even though we might be living 5 miles down the road if you were looking for a good customer service you will not get one here as far as I’m concerned.

Fantastic little spot right on the beach! We ate here 4 or 5 times. The food is excellent. I highly recommend the cordon blue, snapper or chicken bowl. My salad was also quite yummy, and full of plenty of vegetables. Great place to enjoy the sunset, and cocktails. Plus, they have the cutest little kitten!

Were seated in the middle, not on a beach. The music (bad) was so loud we couldn’t hear – in fact the server couldn’t hear me when we asked to change tables, despite me yelling. We were seated off the kitchen window, with no breeze and fans that didn’t work.
The food was mediocre, portions not large. Drinks were weak. Service was almost non existent.

Oh, how we loved this gem during our time in Potrero. We loved having Mimi as our server, and Franklin was also extremely hospitable. The Imperial is cold and the snacks are great.
The view is fantastic, especially for a sunset happy hour with live music (we were there on a Saturday). Honestly, it was a great way to wrap up our trip. Not pretentious at all and a fun vibe.
Ceviche, coconut shrimp, poke bowl, catch of the day, red snapper (maybe could have used a bit more seasoning), tenderloin, etc all hit the spot. There were 10 of us and everyone was happy. The margaritas also hit the spot.

First is the atmosphere, sitting no more than a few yards from the gentle waves rolling in and surrounded by the beauty that is Costa Rica, happy birds singing in the surrounding trees, it just doesn’t get much better than this.
Then there is the quality of the service, which was great. Our server was friendly and helpful, quick to respond any time we needed something, she made us feel very welcome and well-treated.
The food was exceptional. Vegetables and fruits were fresh, the meats were prepared very well. The beverages were well-crafted and delicious. Presentation was great as well.
***Here’s an update. We come here periodically, but this last time I tried the steak sandwich, and wow… Really, really well crafted. I accompanied it with a jalapeño margarita, and that’s now my new favorite.

Awesome experience! Reached out to the team via FB Messenger for a reservation for a Bday. They gave us a great table at the front with a spectacular view of the beach and sunset! Service was fast and super friendly, we felt at home, and the food was fantastic! I deducted 1 point because they were out of lobster, which was the one thing we came for, but we ordered a couple other seafood dishes which were great! Definitely recommend this place, even if you’re on a resort, it’s a quick Uber ride and a great experience! Great job team!
