Lovely place to have a drink. One of the best places to watch the people on the beach swimming and having fun. and the big catamaran comming in put out. Very busy. My food was not good. at bowl of chips has a cup of garlic butter poured over the top. I couldn’t eat them. The chips sat in a pool of fat. Atmosphere is beautiful if a big old hotel on the beach. Luxurious

As far as views go, the view from the bar is priceless. I went solo for a quick drink. It was plenty busy but being a party of 1, I was able to belly up at the bar where I ordered (I think?!?) the Moana Sunset Mai Tai. The drink was quite good. The bartenders kept busy and were serving lots of folks but I was overlooked. Once served they continued to check in on me. The sunset was cloudy but can tell another night with no clouds would make this a breathtaking view. The price was in line if not on the high side of what cocktails cost in the area. Would be curious to try the food and give this place another try!

Time to hang out with friends at the beach bar. The place is in the hotel with beautiful and classy interior. Nice live music and the area outside is very casual. It was a party mix of people who live in Chinatown, Waialae – Kahala, NYC and Santiago CA. It was a fun night and catch up with longtime friends.

The Beach Bar at the Westin Moana Surfrider quickly became our favorite spot in Waikiki—we ended up hanging out there every single night! ✨ The atmosphere is unbeatable with ocean views, a lively vibe, and the perfect mix of relaxation and fun.

The drinks are incredible—our go-tos were the Lava Flow with a dark rum float (absolute perfection!) and the Lychee Martini, but you really can’t go wrong here. Their Mai Tai is also one of the best I’ve ever had.

The staff deserves a huge shout-out—they’re attentive, friendly, and make you feel right at home. On top of that, the food is just as amazing as the drinks. We tried several meals, but the Surf & Turf is a must-have. Delicious, perfectly cooked, and highly recommended!

If you’re in Waikiki, don’t miss this spot. Great drinks, great food, great people—The Beach Bar is pure island magic.

I wanted to be fair in writing this, as I rarely give low reviews

The Beach Bar in Waikiki definitely has a great setup. The atmosphere is the highlight live music, ocean breeze, and that perfect view of the water. It’s the kind of place you want to sit and relax for a while.

But the service really missed the mark during my visit. We got our food, but nobody checked on us afterward. It took at least 10 minutes of trying to flag someone down just to get basic things we needed. For a place that looks this inviting, the lack of attention was disappointing. The food itself wasn’t anything special either not terrible, just not memorable.

I will say the manager was kind and did step in to help. They comped a few items, which I appreciated, and it showed they cared enough to try to make things right. It just didn’t fully make up for the overall experience.

The Beach Bar seems like it could be a really great spot, and maybe we caught it on an off day. The atmosphere is amazing, but the service could use some improvement to match the setting.

Visited on December 3 around 7 PM — absolutely unacceptable and dangerous.

I am furious and deeply shocked by what happened. Our child was served water that had a strong, undeniable chemical/cleaning detergent smell. This is not a small mistake — this is a serious health hazard that could have caused real harm to a child.

When we reported it, the staff simply apologized. No explanation. No urgency. No investigation. No manager stepping in. Nothing.
How can a restaurant serve contaminated water to a child and then act as if it’s not a big deal?

This level of negligence is outrageous. It shows a complete lack of safety protocols and accountability. Families trust restaurants to provide safe food and water — and this restaurant failed at the most basic level.

Parents, please check your child’s water before they drink it. What happened to us could have ended much worse.

I will not be returning, and I sincerely hope the management takes this incident seriously before someone gets hurt.

The food at The Beach Bar was solid—nothing too fancy, but those portions were huge! The cocktails were fine and definitely helped set the vibe. The surprise vocals during the day were delightful, adding a nice touch to the atmosphere. And let’s talk about that view! Wow! The ocean was absolutely stunning, right there as you dine. I’d definitely go back and explore some new dishes next time!

I stopped by this cool little bar outside by the ocean to grab a drink or two. The setting is definitely the highlight—it’s right on the water with a great view, and the atmosphere fits perfectly with the hotel vibe.

Service, however, was disappointing. I ordered my first drink and enjoyed it, but once I finished, I sat for about 15 minutes without anyone checking on me. Servers were attentive to others around me, including someone right next to me, but no one came back my way. Eventually, I just decided to leave rather than try to flag someone down.

Overall, it’s a great location with a nice ambiance, but the lack of consistent service made it frustrating. If you want a good view and don’t mind rolling the dice on service, it may still be worth a stop.

This is the spot to go to for a beautiful sunset meal and drinks. The fish tacos were terrific. It is a bit hard to get a good table so get in early.

Waikīkī Beach Bar — the kind of place your soul wants to come back to.

I sat down with their signature Hawaiian cocktail in hand, just a few steps from the ocean. The breeze, the sound of the waves, the golden hour light — it all just hits different here.

The drink itself? Super refreshing, well-balanced, and that salted rim? Total flavor bomb. I’d honestly come back just for that cocktail alone.

But it’s not just about the drink.
There’s this effortless vibe here — no pressure, no rush. You’re right on the beach, the staff is chill and friendly, the music’s just right. Even if you’re by yourself, you feel like you belong.

If you’re in Waikīkī, do yourself a favor: stop by. Grab a drink, take in the view, let the ocean slow you down for a moment.

Not fancy. Just real, easy, island magic.

Would 100% come back. Cyborg approves.
