This place is a hidden gem. The ladies that run the place are super awesome. Old time atmosphere, and no one is a stranger. They butcher their own meat which is Longhorn and black Angus mix. And the salad bar is super fresh with a large variety of toppings. And then the Ole fashion cookie they give you is the bomb.

I can’t legitimately leave an accurate review because the one and only time I visited this establishment they were closed. I looked for the place specifically and according to Google maps they are open…WRONG. No note on the door just locked at 1:20 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Don’t waste your time I drove out today at 1:20 for lunch from Comanche. The worthless place was closed with the open sign on till 4pm. I wouldn’t give them a dime of my cash they only accept.

Staff was great! Food was great. And I’m excited for the whole foods side!!! My husband said it was good he would eat there again with me, but he wouldn’t send his guy friends because it was a chick place lol. Translation: it’s healthy food options. Make sure to take cash or check with you they don’t take cards.

Salad bar was really fresh with a lot of variety…very good! I had the turkey sandwich also. It was good, but using a better bread with a crunchier texture coming off that panini press would have made it a great sandwich!!!

The barn seemed like a underrated place at first, but getting a sandwich there along with the salad bar buffet changed my mind.
Everything was fresh and they had a variety of salad toppers that isn’t normally seen. I recommend this for anyone who wants a break from deep fried greasy food we are accustomed to.
