Such a cool place for dinner. Definitely a date-night spot. All of the food was yummy! Everything had a perfect combination of flavors. The fritters and aioli were delicious; however, the chevre dumplings are hard to share. The brownie sundae was the perfect finish. The service was excellent, and getting to view the distillery is an added bonus while dining. The wife had the Dragon’s Breath, and I went for the Pineapple Express – it made me feel like I was back in Florida with the umbrella. Very cool spot.

Madi B was an amazing server – made sure to always keep our waters full, checking in each time a new item was placed down, and very friendly. The food was incredible! We have the Chicken and the Grilled Cheese, and while we were too full to finish, we savored every bite we ate! I’ve been dreaming of the Whiskey Sour since my last visit to Blackband, and it was definitely worth the wait! The pre-made cocktail flight is also something to try, each flavor was unique and tasty!

I took my wife here for Valentine’s Day and the experience was outstanding. The Burger was impressive and probably the best burger I’ve ever had. My wife’s meatloaf sandwich was delicious as well. I’m a huge fan of this place and we will definitely return.

Stopped in for a girls night with my lifelong best friend. We came for the Ribeye, unfortunately they were sold out for the evening. Stared off disappointed as I am 8 month pregnant and really wanted that steak We had a burger, braised chicken, and dumplings instead. Everything tasted amazing, especially the dumplings. The fries served with the burger were tossed in browned butter and probably the best fries I’ve ever eaten. 10/10 for service and would love to go back for those dumplings and hopefully a Ribeye next time!

We had the best date night at Black Band Distillery! Their new small plate menu is phenomenal! The dumplings and bone marrow were some of the best dishes you will find in Peoria! My husband and I ordered 4 plates to share and a dessert and I couldn’t finish the desert! We also each had three cocktails and each one tasted just as unique and delicious as the one before! We were very impressed with the quality of the service as well. Our server described every ingredient in each plate and even knew where a lot of them were purchased from locally. This remains the most unique and impressive spot for our date night!

Had a great experience here as always! Maddie (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was an amazing server. She made great recommendations, (jalapeño corn muffin) was a nice touch, entertaining and was running that place! The whole staff was working together as a team and extremely attentive. Enjoyed a full course meal with cocktails. The menu always changes and am never disappointed. Compliments to the chef! Will continue to come back.

Extremely disappointed in the menu. There were only 3 main entries to choose from one was a $75 ribeye. All four of us ordered the scampi but only had enough left for 3 servings. We sat in the upper level, the smoke was so bad from the kitchen it was hard to breathe and a smoke haze filled the area. Wasn’t that busy but it took very long to get our appetizers and food along with drinks. The food was WAY overpriced, with only three entrees on the menu we expected them to be excellent and they were not. Had the shrimp scampi risotto, risotto wasn’t tender and the asparagus was burnt and the shrimp was just ok. We realized this is a distillery which features their own spirits but no options (tequila) for a margarita and very limited beer options. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for food or drinks unless your main reason to come is for the bourbon.

We were in town for a high school competition and happened upon the Black Band. It was awesome. What a find! If we had more time we would have taken the tour since it is connected to an interesting pre- and post- prohibition era. Food was amazing and staff was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend.
