After hearing great recommendations I went to get pizza on tuesday 10/14 and it was phenomenal! I visited with a friend and what a great place. The vodka sauce pizza was hands down amazing. The Elisa special my son raved about. Great job bar! Kudos to the chef

I was at your establishment a few months ago and the food was delicious. I ordered 4 pizzas for takeout the other night and I don’t know what happened, but it was not edible and very expensive, definitely not worth the money spent.

1st time here to order take out due to power loss from “storm”. Sadly, I wont be returning. 3 grinders and they are lackluster at best! Eggplant parm was still cold in center, no sauce and just 2 pieces of cheese barely melted on there. I asked for it heated so cheese can be melted into sauce….but nope. Missing flavor and sauce.
Meatball grinder is missing flavor, meatballs are loose. And sauce tastes tinny.
Chicken parm was subpar at best. Frozen chicken tenders, cheese and minimal sauce.
I had read reviews and was told to check this place out. I did and am so disappointed! Sorry, not sorry, you wont gain my business, nor family or friends.
My dog eats most things and didnt eat any of the chicken or sauce.

Visited on a Saturday night was very crowded. Waitress was very polite and attentive. The crust on pizza was burnt not a fan of burned,hard crust person I was with was unable to eat crust. I personally thought the prices were a little high if it wasn’t for the music Tre Paul I would have suggested going elsewhere.

Gem of Washington ave! The owners really gave the location the restaurant it deserved. The place is clean, well managed, and has a good classic bar restaurant atmosphere. The tap menu isn’t anything special but they have the right local beers on tap. The menu is good and thin crust pizza come pretty close to New Haven’s best. The bar snack of fried spaghetti is a fun snack to munch on at the bar

If you like New Haven style thin crust pizza, then this is the place to go. Compared to a lot of Italian restaurants that I’ve visited, this place makes the best penne alla vodka around. Diners portions are very generous. Great entertainment on weekends. Nice place to eat, kick back and enjoy!
