EVERYTHING was superb!! The food was delicious and the servers were extra attentive (and patient with our family which included small children).
Thanks so much for making our gathering memorable.
Last time we were there, our waitress was nice, semi attentive and didn’t forget anything. The week prior when ordering via phone for pick up was a disaster, on top of them messing up the actual pizza, we were charged twice (yes after asking the girl if it was already paid for since hubs had called it in) and they had to figure out how to give us back our money during a rush. It took 20 mins of waiting while our pizza got cold.
All the times prior to this, however, have been good. The food quality is pretty consistent and tasty, and the only reason we havent finished something is because we were full. I have had everything from paninis to pizza, to pasta and apps. All are good so far but the pizza is one of the favs in the area so far.
The people are extremely friendly.
Over the holidays, we ordered several pies about 40 minutes from closing. Upon arrival, as we waited for our pizza, a worker was on the phone. When she saw my brother arrive, she said a few choice words in Spanish because it was near closing time. The funny thing is we speak Spanish, and when we asked who she was commenting on (no one else in the store), the manager said it was not directed at us and that she was on the phone.
Now fast forward to this past week. We entered for dinner, and our waitress was nice and attentive at first. My husband asked for broccoli and cavatelli. She asked my husband what kind of pasta he wanted. We were a.bit confused and reminded her that cavatelli is the pasta…again an easy mistake on her behalf. We weren’t shaken up by it at all. She asked what kind of bread we wanted, and we both responded to garlic. She returned 2 times there after to ask what kind of bread we wanted. We were still not bothered or upset by these minor things…
Then our food arrives. I asked for lasagna, and the picture you see is what I got. When she first asked if everything was OK, we said everything was fine as I was just hungry and figured maybe the flavor would have me look over my pile of mush (not lasgna) … I took several bites, and it was not good at all. Mostly cheese and whatever meat they used was not good. When she returned to check on us, I kindly said. “To be honest, this is not a lasagna and what it should look like or taste.” Her response was not apologetic at all but instead said well I don’t know, I’ve never had it. ” She made no attempt to fix the situation or offer another meal. I understand I’m not dining at a 5 star establishment, but most people know what lasagna is and what it should look and taste like. Not a pile cheese, sauce, and mush.
Then, from there forth, she was just rude and slapped the check on the table and threw the pen on the table.
I dont need to make a scene, so I paid and off I went. With no desire to ever return.
