I had a delicious Perch Sandwich with Fries today, It was great and the Service was great too! You can eat inside or go onto the large outdoor patio to enjoy the fresh air while you eat.

We stopped for lunch at The Bank 1883 and had a great experience. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived, and the service was friendly and quick. My son ordered a cheeseburger cooked medium, and it came out perfectly done, which doesn’t always happen at other spots.

We also tried a Hurricane and a Mai Tai from the bar, and both were excellent — well-balanced and not overly sweet.

The real reason we chose The Bank was for their highly recommended Maurice salad, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The portion was huge, and they didn’t skimp on the good stuff like pickles and olives, which other places often leave out. The dressing was spot-on. My wife said it was the best Maurice salad she’s had anywhere outside of the Hudson Café in Detroit.

We chose to sit indoors, but they have a great patio setup with umbrella-covered tables that would be perfect on a nice day.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Port Austin — solid food, good drinks, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe.

My friend and I were taking a day trip in the Thumb area. We saw the Bank restaurant and decided to grab a bite of food. The service was great but it’s their off season so no one else was there besides us on a Friday early afternoon. The atmosphere was unique. I loved old pictures that hung on the walls. We also went upstairs where you felt you were transported in time. The food was very delicious. We had appetizers, along with soup. I would definitely go back.

I really loved this place. Sometimes when I’m in this area I feel like I’ve left Earth behind (which is why I go there). Bank 1884 has a great food and drink menu and a staff of super cool people. Look at this food. 5/5….no regrets!

This place is by far the best place to eat between Port Huron and Port Austin.

The price and the value are perfect. Plus, they’re a quick walk away from Blue Moon Icre Cream, but that’s a totally different review, I’ll do theirs next.

They have homemade Fries, potato chips, and tortilla chips. They’re all really nice additions to the simple yet unique sandwich options. The Mac and Cheese looked really good, and seeing how my son was silent for more than 5 minutes (FINALLY), he also licked the bowl clean. The grilled cheese was solid, too. I had the Reuben it was awesome.

Mr., my wife, my son and my cousin ate here our bill was less then $45. We all left satisfied and will return.

Thank Kitchen and thank you staff. Well done.

The service was really good. The restaurant was clean and had an overall good vibe atmosphere. The food was delicious. The clam chowder was amazing with a hint of dill, what a unique touch. The cheese curds were very flavorful. The spinach artichoke dip was good until you tasted the cheese curds, they had so much flavor they made the dip seem bland. The Maurice salad was really good, not as good as Hudson’s, but close enough to bring back all those memories. The money reuben was a little light on meat. The vault sauce on the reuben was a neat twist on thousand island and had a little kick. I upgraded to the fries and it was worth it. I also had a Hurricane which was well made. We will be going back again.

A nice spot in Port Austin with a lot of charm and character. We were promptly greeted upon arrival and seated not long after. The ambiance was relaxed and the menu had lots of options. We had the french onion soup and chicken Wellington. Oh and the complimentary bread rolls are very tasty and unique! Service was amazing. The Bank is certainly worth visiting

While I drove, my husband was looking online for a suitable restaurant for lunch. He would read the menu highlights as he searched. The Bank’s menu had Maurice Salad. Yes, please! It was scrumptious! My husband’s burger was high quality beef. We were very pleased with the service, atmosphere and presentation.

Nice little restaurant walking distance from the Port Austin State Harbor. There is bar and dining inside, however, it was a nice day so we opted for patio seating. The service and food were good. Ordered apps and beverages. Would definitely stop by again.
