Lovely Thai eatery serving authentic comfort dishes. Their shrimp pad thai was the best. They use fresh ingredients & the flavours were well balanced. I love that they added tofu & shredded cabbage. I enjoyed their Thai iced tea as well. This is one of my favourite meals during my trip. The owner Joy is wonderful. We had a nice chat. This is a hidden in Fairbanks. Right next to the farmer’s market. An absolute must visit!

The real deal, as far as Thai food goes, which surprised me. But I later found out, Fairbanks it’s famous for it’s Thai restaurants.
This is a take-out joint, but there is outdoor seating.
I had the green curry, which includes rice (something no longer standard in the lower 48.)
Be sure to tell the cook you are vegan, to make sure you don’t get any fish or meat base.

I really love this restaurant! The flavors taste just like home (cause I’m Thai.) – it’s as if I’m eating in Thailand. The Chicken Green Curry and Thai Iced Tea are absolutely delicious. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and trying them out. The owner is very friendly and easy to talk to, which made the experience even better. I’m truly impressed with this place

The Bangkok Thai in Fairbanks is a great spot for real Thai food. The flavors are rich, the ingredients are fresh, and the spice level is just right. I highly recommend the Pad Thai and Green Curry, both are packed with flavor. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. A perfect place for a warm, comforting meal.

I found the best Thai restaurant in Fairbanks. The eggs roll was delicious and the sauce was very tasty. I will definitely come here again. There is a small lake and mountain view at the back of the restaurant, so I can spend time there with delicious food. What a great time!

This place is a fricking diamond. I’ve spent A LOT of time in Thailand, and went here on a recommendation from a local. And wow! This is Thailand in Alaska. Every dish made with super fresh produce and meat. And made the real Thai way. Chef Joy was a pleasure to chat with. And she truly cares about serving her food the way it’s intended. If it’s supposed to be spicy, then it will be spicy. Enjoy a real taste of Thai cuisine here. Aroy mak mak!

Alright, they’ve redeemed themselves in my book. I was annoyed when they were closed for the winter but was still listed as open. They’re open now so I gave them a try.
No papaya salad since it’s out of season. I got the green curry with chicken ($17) and it was delicious! Large portion and the chicken was flavorful and tender. The vegetables were fresh; you could really taste how fresh the basil was.
The service was good too. The lady inside was friendly, down-to-earth, and funny. I’m glad was able to give them a try.

My preferred place for authentic Thai food in the area. Jungle curry was really addicting and spicy. Dry ground pork curry was very delicious. The Thai style chicken wings could of used a spicy dip on the side but still good.
