The dosas are flavorful and made with fresh ingredients, offering a satisfying, lighter option. They offer many variations so there’s something for everyone. While the prices are on the higher side, it’s worth it for the quality.
The location is convenient, but be prepared for a long line — it’s a popular spot with a lot of foot traffic. Still, the wait is usually worth it for the tasty, authentic flavors. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
Authentic Bengaluru style (we eat our dosas with only chutney), made with love and absolutely delicious. They’re the best dosas I’ve had outside of Bengaluru. Other dishes are amazing too. After being a Ballard farmer’s market regular I used their catering service for the breakfast at my Kannada wedding and it was an absolute hit. Couldn’t recommend enough!
The masala chow chow bath and the kesari bath are delicious and reasonably priced .
But the dosas are over priced and average tasting at the best specially when you have other sit down places in the area , cheaper and tastier dosas.
The onion chilly dosa was below average and i believe the most expensive dosa they serve which literally has some oily chillies and onions in the dosa and nothing else.
No sambhars served either.
The only saving grace is the chow chow baths.
I understand they need to run the operations at the farmers market and thus have premium prices but back it up with better dosas then.
Not going to visit this place again and would prefer going to a sit down dosa place instead.
Do not recommend!!
The prices at this establishment are moderate. Although it took some time for our food to arrive, the wait was worth it because the flavors were absolutely authentic. Without a doubt, it was the best South Indian cuisine I have ever tasted in this country.
I ordered the dosa and chow chow bath, and they were incredibly delicious. The flavors were delightful and left me craving for more. I have decided to make this place a regular weekend destination, and I highly recommend it to others.
The option of chutney or sambar would be a good addition. Also, a butter plain dosa would be nice to add to the menu.
The mango lemonade was lacking any lemonade flavor for me. Tasted more like a watered down mango juice.
I absolutely loved the Ballard farmers market pop up. I ordered Masala dosa and kesar badaam milk (Saffron almond milk) and both the options were delicious and worth the hype. Please visit them at this location. The management at this location was quick and efficient.
The SLU pop up was disappointing. There was no dosa on the menu. I ended up ordered Idli and chicken biryani. My chicken biryani had no chicken and lacked good favor (including salt). I wouldn’t recommend going to this location.
