Our neighbors had said great things so we tried this bagel shop instead of our normal one. Very unimpressed with the bagels that were delivered. They were all stale and hard, they all look overcooked. They didn’t get the order correct and put cheese on my sandwich, and never delivered the hash brown I ordered.
The one in the top left of my picture is so overcooked/stale that you can’t even squish it in at all.
Overall just a negative experience.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was disappointing from start to finish. The service was slow and unorganized—even though the shop wasn’t busy, my order took far longer than it should have. When I finally got my food, the bagel was stale, had hardly any cream cheese (pictured), and the sandwich was barely warm. What made the experience worse was the attitude from the staff. I was addressed as “not your order guy” multiple times while staring at my order on the counter. I won’t be returning, and I’d recommend trying another spot if you’re looking for fresh food and respectful service.

Really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but every single time I have ordered from here they forget something from my order. Ordered a dozen bagels when I had family over for the holidays. They handed me a large bag and I didn’t think I needed to check it. Get home and realize literally half of the order is missing. And I ordered IN STORE. This past time my very pregnant wife was craving hash browns so I got bagels with hash browns. Get home and we only had the bagels in the bag. These are just two examples but every other time the bagels have either been on the stale side or missing all together. If you want good bagels in the area it’s worth the wait at The Breakfast Nook in Sicklerville.

I stopped by after a work function because I was craving a good breakfast sandwich. I had a turkey sausage and egg on an everything bagel and really enjoyed it. Great flavor, generous size, and the guy behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

On the way from meeting a seller in Vineland, I realized I haven’t eaten anything all day so I stopped in The Bagel Barn Cafe & Bakery in Franklinville.
This is a cute little place with not much dine-in seating, but from what I can tell from the customers who came in during my visit, they take their orders to go. Still, the decor is inviting and comfortable.
The main reason I wanted to try this particular café was I love a good chicken salad. And other reviews have raved about their’s – Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad. And now I know why. I actually got a small container to take home. I had half for lunch that day and the other half the next day. And I want more! SO, so good!
And, of course, I couldn’t leave without buying bagels and a cup of coffee. I took the bagels home to share with the family. The pumpkin bagel was delicious with its extra seasoning on top. The kids both liked the chocolate chip bagel before school on Wednesday, and my husband liked the cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with cream cheese. And the coffee hit the spot for my drive home.
The bakery section was minimal, but it was Tuesday morning after Labor Day weekend. Maybe they took a well earned break from baking for the weekend?
Simply put, this a solid place to get coffee and bagel sandwiches in South Jersey. I can’t recommend the Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad enough!

Really blown away from the fresh amazing taste of these bagels. i live near NY and it tasted just like a NY bagel! i love that it was family owned because it added a comfortable feeling ! great to stop by for a delicious dessert ( they have a baker on premise) or a nice breakfast sandwich. if you take delsea drive to wildwood from clayton or glassboro area you will pass it on your right ! it’s worth stopping in!

The bagels are among the best you will find in WAY South Jersey. It does get very busy. There has been a line every time I’ve gone there. It is worth the wait. Just make sure you plan enough time in your schedule. I tried to call to order ahead of time once, but when I got there, they didn’t have any record of my order. That was disappointing. But the bagels are so good, I waited for them to take and fill my order anyway. They do have different spreads. Cinnamon butter is a favorite of my son’s. I was thrilled to find out they have lox.

Mixed reaction. Place was clean. Prices reasonable. Just not the kind of bagel I’m used too. (Just a personal preference) I would go back in a pinch.

I have always loved ordering from this place. I don’t mind the 20 minute drive to pick up the food because it has always been good. My order today was far from quality. First, I ordered an everything bagel TOASTED with jalapeño cream cheese, double bacon crispy, hashbrown, and avocado. I got a cold non toasted cheddar bagel with egg and cheese on it. My husband’s bagel was also cold, not toasted, and he said it tasted like it had been microwaved. My son also shared that his bacon was undercooked and it was also not toasted and appeared to have been microwaved. I called to complain and they did credit back my sandwich which I appreciate. Sad to see the quality of service in the food they are putting out is not what it use to be. Probably won’t be eating here again. Also, check your food before you leave because they might have made or given you the wrong order.

The food is favorable, but the quantity of the sandwich’s i think is what kills. Asked specifically for “extra extra extra” on a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel and what I received was a skimpy single layered sandwich. In the photos ones “extra extra extra” and one is “regular” sandwich tell me which one is which.
