I have only been to The Bacon Tree for breakfast but I love everything about it. The atmosphere and service is fantastic. They serve coffee that is phenomenal. Every time I have been there I try something different and have never been disappointed by the quality and taste. It is always fresh and delicious. And the Bloody Marys made with Twenty-two bacon infused vodka are to die for.

Awesome food! Good atmosphere very nice restrooms. Haven’t been here since they moved to their new location with the winter port winery and was not disappointed. They were out of my favorite haddock hash but the corned beef hash was excellent! We will be back again soon!

They open at 7ish. Cook did not show up by 7:40 when we had to leave. Waitress was very nice. Organic coffee was good. Good local products. Hard to give a better review as we didn’t get to try the food. They gave us free coffee. They made it right later. Nice place. Will try again.

The best breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the greater Bangor area! The service is friendly, the atmosphere feels like you’re visiting friends, and the food is creative and fresh. Locally roasted Farm House Roasters coffee and as many locally sourced ingredients as they can get make every meal special. Leslie and David do a wonderful job!

Love the location, love the food and love the family that runs it. The food is outstanding. My daughter and I moved to Winterport two years ago, and we both agree that one of the perks of living here is having The Bacon Tree right down the street. If you want amazing food, this is the place to go.

Had breakfast with my friend. We both had Eggs Benedict. She had the veggie version, I had the traditional. The food was excellent, service superb. A little pricey for a local breakfast place, but worth it for an occasional thing.

Food has been fantastic from day one. Clearly made by someone who loves food and loves to cook. Service leaves something to be desired. Tends to be slow, but everything is fresh.
Last time we went, it was a very busy day, and I assume our orders got lost. It happens. We’re all human. It was almost an hour before we got our food. Other tables arrived after we did and paid their bills and left in that span. Our waitress was wonderful and apologetic and kept the coffee flowing. The person I was with had to go out to the car for meds at some point (45 mins in I think).
And then out of nowhere this other woman comes up. Not sure if she is/was a manager, but we had not asked for a manager. We just wanted to eat our food (that we knew would be great) and go. Anyway, rather than offer any kind of apology or take any kind of ownership, she chewed us out for getting impatient (which we had been anything but), wouldn’t listen to what we had to say, and told us there was no need to be nasty before walking away and slapping a high five with someone.
That is the opposite of how you handle a negative service experience. Great food, though. I miss it, but there are other places to spend your money. Granted this was months ago; maybe they’ve learned some things since. While I won’t be back, if you’re not hungry NOW but you will be in an hour, it’s worth a try.

Waited for an hour to be seated, was told it would be 10 minutes and then waited an hour to get food while only receiving one cup of coffee. The waitress or anyone for that matter did not come back to check on us at all and we tried desperately to get that second cup of coffee. Very bad, frustrating experience. Will never go back again.

Really nice place. The cook needs to find anothe job like maybe flipping pizza’s and not cooking regular meals. I ordered – bacon and cheese omelette, toast, orange juice and a side order of sausage. We arrived at 10:45. At 11:40 the waitress apologized for the wait and said we’ll give you 10% off at 11:45 an hour later our meal was served. The orange juice had some kind of weird mint taste, the omelet looked more like a pile of scrambled eggs it wasnt browned any where. I never recieved my sausage but never said anything because I didn’t want to wait any longer. It’s not like the place was crowed. I went to pay my bill and would you believe they didn’t forget to bill me for the none existing sausage. When I told them of this at the counter the head lady said well he didn’t order it. My waitress showed her my bill and she walked off and said nothing. In closing my 12 year old grandson makes a MUCH better meal. Don’t waste your time or money. GO TO McDonads and buy a big breakfast !!!!!! COURIOUS if this gets posted.
If it gets deleted I WILL POST ALL OVER FACE BOOK.
