A brand new spot in Seal Beach, the food was second only to the service. With a bar inside serving beer and wine, open with an adult beverage before savoring some delicious dishes. Everything we had was great. Going back for takeout with the BBQ feasts.

The brunch here is amazing! We got the biscuits and gravy with a scrambled egg, avocado toast, and fruit. Everything came out fast and tasted amazing. The price wasn’t bad either. My baby is very picky but tried a bit of everything with a big goofy smile. They have high chairs too if needed. Not crowded, zero wait, and the decor is quaint. Back of the menu has lots of drink options to pair as well. We will definitely be back.

We had brunch and the food and service were both fantastic. Our server Sara was super nice, knowledgeable on the menu, and made great drinks. Nate bussed our table and did a great job. You should bottle and sell your homemade pickles that are so tasty. The Tex-Mex and Nachos brunch meals were excellent. We had a great time and promise to be back!

Came here for Memorial Day and luckily we looked up restaurants in the area and saw pictures of the food before seeing the atmosphere. The food and service were fantastic! Sarah was very welcoming and bubbly. The atmosphere, however, lacks luster. It’s clean and nice but something about it lacks. Just my 2 cents. On that note, the food and service will definitely have me coming back

Good BBQ restaurant. Food was great. Service was good. Ambiance was nice. Small dining area. Nice bar inside. Limited menu. Small BBQ set is good for about 4 people.

Mac and cheese is boring, pulled pork ok, the bread was excellent. Not enough Cole slaw on the sandwich

Here for lovely Sunday brunch. Special kudos to waitress/server, Sara and busser/server support, Nate. Friendly and attentive service. Personable and helpful. Nice small place…not too loud, which was nice. Food and drinks were amazing. Oj and grapefruit mimosas but make sure to order your Breakfast Nachos early! They sell out! Tex Mex breakfast tortillas incredible with Q sauce and andoulle sausage. Perfect gooey eggs (They call them “sunnies). Unique, memorable place. We’ll be back. P.S. you need a drop- down sign over the sidewalk so it’s easier to find you! We almost passed it by, but saw name on the menu in the window. 😀

The smell of barbecue made me walk there….. The meals come set with a sample of all the good stuff. I recommend going with at least 4 people for the small BBQ combo package.

Looking to take a reprive from shopping in Huntingdon Beach..found The Backyard (Seal Beach). Was greeted upon entry…selected our own table. Restaurant was full but comfortable. Waitress introduced herself and brought waters and menus right away. She was kind, generous and energetic.

My friend and I tried the new Backyard BBQ place on Main St. tonight. It was very good! I had the pulled pork sandwich and my friend had the open face tri-tip sandwich. Both were cooked perfectly. The bread was crispy and fresh baked. We really enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I’m looking forward to trying the ribs next time.
