If you’re cruising through on a boat this is the place to re-provision your wine stocks. They don’t just have a great selection of wines (well thought out selections as well) but a ton of other cool stuff. Every time we bring a boat back through here we’ll be stopping for sure. Belhaven is a great town with some great people in it but this shop was our favorite.

Cora’s Backroom Wine shop is a wonderful addition to Belhaven. The wine selection is great, the gifts are spectacular, and Cora herself is fabulous. She is very friendly and always willing to help you find a wine that fits your palate. I highly recommended stopping in to not only buy wine, but enjoy a glass out front while taking in the sights and sounds of wonderful Belhaven!

We were traveling through Bellhaven, NC on the ICW for America’s great Loop and we happened to drive (our marina River Forest Manor and Marina offers complementary golf carts) past this cute wine shop and the owner waved us in from the road! Say no more! Kora the owner was friendly and so welcoming! We had a delicious glass of red wine that she recommended and it did not disappoint! We met another looper, a local friend Brooke and some friendly neighborhood doggies! If you are traveling through this cute town, or live here, please stop in! The store offers many organic products from candles to cleaning supplies, some clothing and of course wine! We are so glad to have visited!
