Whil most other pizza places on Rt. 1 were either closing or not accepting orders late evening(7pm) we were lucky to find Charlie’s Pizza still open taking orders. The pizza was freshly made, in fact we had reached early and saw the pizza being prepared. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza crust was just right. The owner was so friendly and also offered complimentary cookies when he learnt that the pizza order was for kids. I would highly recommend trying the all Veggie Pizza from here.

Charlies is my go-to for pizza. The crust is always nice and fluffy and the toppings are always fresh..
If there is ever an issue it has always been corrected. (Once my mom got a kinda burnt loaded pizza that he refunded.) Charlie himself is a great guy.
Not many businesses have made it as long as he has and that says a lot about his pizza.
10/10 will continue to get my pizza from Charlie as long as ellsworth is lucky enough to have him.

Got delivery from Charlie’s the other night, mainly because they were the only ones I could find that delivered in Ellsworth. Pizza was good, fair priced and quick delivery. Makes me want to try more of their food when I return to town.

Charlie’s is my favorite place to order pizza. I don’t like thin crust pizza. I don’t like brick oven pizza. I don’t like Pat’s pizza. This is literally the only pizza in town that I enjoy eating. They don’t go overboard with the sauce and the toppings are always perfect. Sometimes delivery service can be pretty slow but it’s worth it to me ♀️ I’ll always order my pizza from here.

not the best atmosphere unless you like looking at some older arcade machines and the little cars you put a coin in.
The workers there provide great service every time and are straight to work , able to chat and work at the same time, they also have a great local following being the go too for many and even doing their own delivery no door dash needed.

Had veg pizzas here and those where really fluffy and soft made fresh on location as soon as we ordered the taste of the pizzas where also awesome thank you and highly recommend this over regular pizza hut and stuff

This five star rating goes out to the pepperoni pizza. Literally the best pizza I’ve ever had. The most amazing smell of old time pizza can be smelled from the street, that’s how you know it’s good. Garlicy sauce, a little greasy, crust crunchy and soft in the right places. The place is honestly dirty and I don’t know why they even have a place to sit inside but man I can overlook the grime because it’s THAT good. Haven’t tried anything else from here. Can’t wait to go back.

My order was delivered in a timely manner. Pizza was great, toppings evenly spread and cooked perfectly. We had plenty to feed us that evening and the next day. Great value. Now all was not good. The so called salami sub was the absolute poorest excuse for a sandwich I have ever ordered. 7 slices of salami, two pieces of cheese topped with some veggies and an insane amount of pickles. I asked for it toasted, it was not. You should remove from your menu as you are not even close. I may not order the great pizza again as the sub was so bad. Gave it to my dog.

Good sub fresh veggies. It was delicious. Place was a bit run down tho kitchen looked like it needed a refresh. Less then $10 for a sub is a win in my book.
