We were driving through the area and noticed it had very good ratings and thought oh this looks like it might be good. Heading there, hmmm, this is off the beaten path, weird. Its behind a medical complex. Hmmm, this looks like an ALF, but there are signs that advertise it. We walk in and it IS an ALF and the restaurant is for residents only! We left, had a good laugh. The food may be fabulous, we just didn’t try it. However, it DID look like a BEAUTIFUL facility!

I want to preface this that the waitress we had was incredibly wonderful. The food was also amazing. That was not the problem. The problem was the lady who “greeted” us. Had I have not been with my mother, I would have spoken up. The person who greeted us, gave us a look like we must be lost. She asked, can I help you as she looked us up and down. She didn’t even wait for us to answer, she just walked away as we said a table for two. She said ok and walked away. She didn’t even answer. She left us standing there, and then said “ok, well I can seat you in the basement.” To say that my blood pressure sky rocketed, would be an understatement. They were not busy as we just arrived when the restaurant was opening. Thankfully, my mom was not really paying attention to really notice. I’ve worked in many restaurants, and I would have been fired immediately if I interacted with a guest like that. Clearly, we were not good enough to eat in your restaurant. Which, by the way, is incredibly overpriced for what you get. The food is amazing. But, way overpriced. The place is overpriced where they clearly pick which guests get to be seen by the public. Too bad I didn’t get her name, but she had short blonde hair. The date and time we were there was 4:00 pm. Thursday, June 29, 2023. They say us downstairs by a doorway on the bar side. I will be telling as many as I can that the greet staff was unbelievably disgraceful.

Things we loved: the food was delicious, reasonably priced, good variety. They pay their staff a real wage, so no tipping was a surprise. Pleasant atmosphere. Things that were ok: location is in the back of an assisted living facility. Almost no other customers. Things they need to improve: our server was in two rooms at the same time. He was running back and forth, often forgot us, and while apologizing, they need to organize that better. Too much ice in the drinks meant you get three sips then are empty. With the previous issue mentioned, we were often thirsty.
