The atmosphere at The Azalea Bar & Garden is absolutely beautiful. It has this charming, old-fashioned feel that instantly makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. The cozy garden vibes, warm lighting, and thoughtful details make it one of the most relaxing places to spend an evening.
The drinks are delicious and clearly made with care—every cocktail tastes crafted rather than rushed. You can tell the bartenders take pride in what they do. Big shout out to our bartender Elizabeth and Emily!

Had been wanting to try this place while we were on vacation in Charleston. Made the drive to Summerville and it was well worth it . Great spot with a speakeasy vibe . Had a couple of drinks , some food and a cigar . Everything was fantastic. Love the atmosphere and ambience of this place . Will definitely come back when in town . This was better than just about every bar and speakeasy in downtown Charleston .

I’m not typically one for writing reviews, but this place deserves all the recognition. I’m a “regular” here and my first time coming was in October 2022 when they had their Harry Potter night. I can’t believe it’s taken my hometown this long to get a cocktail bar. Honestly, how did we function without it? It’s such a great place to read a book, people watch or even meet up with friends. Not only does it have the ambiance of a speakeasy, but the drinks, food and staff also create a memorable experience. I’ve had the most interactions with Michele and she’s amazing. Truly, she’s so very kind and she always goes above and beyond to check-in and recommend something new. Definitely checkout The Azalea Bar, if you’ve never been. You won’t regret it!

This was such a unique experience! It feels like a jazz lounge. I keep expecting to see a woman in a cocktail dress crooning into a microphone. It’s very relaxed and such a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of typical restaurants. They do have pizzas, small plates, and desserts. We had the Bourbon Walnut Cheesecake and it was so delicious! We’d definitely come back!

Just left Azalea Cocktail Bar Summerville SC. Amazing cocktails great old Time atmosphere. Great for date night. Awesome small plates and appetizers. Had flatbread pizza UNREAL!! My wife not a Borboun cocktail drinker, drank half my Little Red Corvette Old Fashioned. So that have to be good.

Very cool place. Feels upscale but can do casual or dressy here. Had two different cocktails and both were excellent tasting and unique. Atmosphere has a speakeasy feel to it. At least in the middle room where we sat at a table (though there were multiple couch areas). They do have a dessert menu but we did not try any food.

Cute place. Three different rooms to fit your mood. Lots of cocktail choices. Our server was sweet but did disappear for a while. So decent place with decent service. I’d try it again if I was in the area.

Update on my previous review as my wife and I have been back several times. This is not a restaurant but a very upscale cocktail bar. Perhaps a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and keeps the rowdies away . Large selection of quality spirits and very interesting specialty drinks. Very knowledgeable wait staff particularly Michelle. Just a great place for a pre dinner or post dinner drink. A big plus for the historic Summerville community!

Chic beautifully decorated bar you would expect to find in downtown Charleston. Wonderful, elaborate cocktail menu with some interesting mixes. Large offerings of spirits and they offer bourbon flights . Outdoor patio seating available. Limited selection of small bites available. Service was good.
