Great bar. Great condition. Most bars around are old and dated. This place got a refresher. Service with a smile. Bloody Mary’s are very tasty. Free food on Sunday. Can’t go wrong trying it out. You may find your new Bloody Sunday place. Highly recommend it.

A great small local bar. Just had a drink with my mom to celebrate mothers day. She is a huge fan of this place. Looks like they do live music, singing, and shows here. There was darts, pool, and video games as well. Parking is on the street. And they had an atm machine inside. Looks like a popular little place. Staff was really good to us.

We joined a friend and the annual easter bonnet pub crawl. Made a stop at The atwood. They keep doing a little more eveytime i stop in to make this place better. Bartenders still party with the people!

I’ve been a semi-regular at The Atwood, but a Friday night in late August 2025 ended my business there. As another patron was leaving, he flipped me off and mouthed an insult. I stepped onto the public sidewalk and told him he could say it to my face. A staff member, Vanessa, came outside, put her hands on me, and ordered me to leave, saying I couldn’t “yell at new patrons.” I left.
When I later tried to address it offline, someone named Isaac—who is associated with the bar—sent me a profane, insulting text instead of attempting to resolve the situation.
I’m not expecting perfection—just basic de-escalation, no unnecessary physical contact, and professional follow-up. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

Super cool lil place. Very friendly staff and patrons, overall a great vibe. Pool table, jukebox, darts, plenty of TVs. They host a Smash Bros tournament once a month that is always an absolute blast.

I was visiting from Milwaukee and came here with a friend. It was one of few establishments open at the time in East Madison. The bartender was super friendly and made a great Old Fashioned. He gave some history of the building as well as a free drink chip for the next time I’m in town. I would definitely patron this place again!
