Today visit was horrible the food was not done I had a chimichanga that is supposed to be fried and was a nasty mess. It was not fried. It looks like they just put the queso on top of it and put it on the plate. No one care was taken of the food at all. My husband had fried catfish and it was not done either and then we witnessed the waitresses cleaning up the breakfast Bar and eating the food off of it and pulling hair and throwing it off of the floor we will not be back to this Restaurant

Really nice little restaurant. I got friendly service when I came for lunch, got a lunch plate for a reasonable $9 and it was PLENTY of food for one person. I was on a long road trip and was grateful for a delicious meal

We made a quick trip to Athens and wanted a good breakfast. The Athens Cafe gave us what we were looking for! I had the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. The batter is great, and the gravy was perfect. Both our eggs came out as we had requested. Toast, grits, bacon, and tomatoes were all good! Really good coffee! We would definitely suggest stopping by if you are in the area.

It was on the dark side for ambiance. There was no kids menu to speak of whatsoever. The food was o.k came out within minutes of ordering, my biggest issue was with the wait staff. She was standoffish and on the rude side of customer service. I typically prefer local diners, but this place was lacking overall.

My daughter really liked her ham omelette.

Food is sub par at best. “Chilli con queso” was just melted cheese w Pico on the side. Kids got chicken and fries. Basically Dino nuggets and the fries were freezer burned and stale. I ordered

Scrambled egg, beacon, toast with coffee. Very friendly staff. They are open from as early as 6am weekly. Customer based mostly local people. Everyone seems to know everyone. Great menu variaty price $-$$
