What a cozy little restaurant and awesome bar. The winter mimosa was delicious. The club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in years. The ambiance was twinkly lights and festive decor. A quaint little restaurant in historic Lewisburg. A must.

Really stand out food for a dive bar. My pictures suck cause we were starving and tired and I forgot to pose my food lol
Fries were delicious. The chicken bacon ranch wrap was also really well made & balanced.
Very solid food!

Visiting WV with family and dog — stopped by Lewisburg, came here to Asylum.
They have outdoor seating on the patio, dogs allowed.
They seem a bit understaffed, they were only two people in the bar area, so it took some time to get seated.
I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, a lunch special they had. Also had a side salad — house salad.
Others in table ordered the Steak Sammich and mashed potatoes.
The wrap was good, and there were 2 of them — good for price.
Salad was pretty solid too.
I’d give this a 3.5/5, but I’ll rate up for service. Pretty good, and hope to be back if in the area.

Sat outside in the patio, service was fast, & all of the food was good. Tried the pickle spears, spring rolls, burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, & the bologna sandwich. The kids got the chicken fingers but didn’t care for them, the breading was a little hard & dark. Mac n Cheese was the best! Large portions on everything. Traveling through the cute town, but I would definitely eat there again if we ever come back.

45 min wait for for black BURNT burgers. I get accidents / mistakes happen. . If ya burn it, redo it. Don’t sent the obviously burnt food out! Had to peel off the blackened pieces just to be able to eat some of what we had. Waitress offered to have them redone. . After waiting so long , we were not about to wait even longer. The waitress was friendly, But she was the only waitress there for the whole establishment so we won’t blame her for anything. . Who ever is” manning” the grill , failed!!! Hate to leave bad reviews, but when something is terrible and wastes your money. Needs to be said. And I’m being nice in my wording because I was highly dissatisfied!

We went on 5/17/2025 around noon (for future references)
This was the first time I have been here, and let me tell you, it will definitely not be my last! The server was friendly, quick, and very attentive! The food was hot and delicious, and didn’t take very long to get out to us! I didn’t get pictures of the appetizers (because we were too excited to eat them), but we got the pickle spears and BBQ chicken wings, and they were spectacular! My husband did the BYOB (build your own burger) and it was HUGE!! I got the friend green tomato BLT and wooooooooo it was delicious.
Over all experience was 10/10, and like I said before, I will DEFINITELY be back whenever I am back in town.

First time here and wasn’t disappointed. Staff was excellent, quick and friendly. Got the hot and honey wings and spiral wedges. Wings were iffy, meaning they were rubbery. Good flavor though. Spiral wedges were excellent with cheese and chives. Definitely a great place. Recommended.

Very happy to have found this restaurant. We Sat at the bar on a Thursday evening where we were greeted by a very friendly bartender named Aubrey. We started off with fried pickle Spears and buffalo cauliflower, both were good. They had my favorite beer Yuengling on tap which was super cold! Yum. After staying for quite a few hours we got a smash burger and turkey club both also great. We will definitely make this out spot on the next trip through.
The entire place was clean including the bathrooms and ladies we know how far and few that is to find.
Unfortunately it was raining but I did see they had a pretty awesome deck off the back.
We had a safe walk back to the Thomas Rose Inn for the night . Gotta love a little town that’s safe to explore.
