3rd time at The Ash Bremen, but the first two times were for The Breakfast Buffet, which were pretty good, Tonight however was overwhelmingly Full, understaffed and just bad.
Food was overcooked, late and just a big disappointment.
The Beef bites are good but tiny.
The Bread was good as the starter.
However the mains were the biggest problem, dried burgers covered in sauce, we gave ours back and we only got a sorry, we paid full, couldn’t be bothered to argue. for 100 euros for 2 is just not good.
The Deserts were ok. its a hot lava cake just like Burger king or any other restaurant with a smaller scoop of ice-cream.
The Red velvet cake was good and very filling.
I highly recommend the breakfast brunch, but that’s our last time with the Ash Bremen for a evening meal – if you want a burger its honestly better going to BK or McDonalds and getting something you know you’d enjoy and not playing the lotto with what food comes out.
If the service was better id prob give it 3,5 out of 5 but honestly not a single person came to see us for a hour I guess due to lack of workers finally but we also noticed many faces like ours in despair.
Shame. I was really looking forward to this meal for weeks.

I recently dined at The Ash and was very impressed. The truffle pasta was excellent—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The dish was rich and satisfying, highlighting the quality of the ingredients. The tasty pineapple juice drink was also refreshing and complemented the meal well. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything went smoothly. I ordered the all-you-can-eat spareribs with fries. The service was very good, and everyone was really nice and friendly, but the food was not what I expected. The fries were great, but the spareribs—although very tender—smelled bad, and I couldn’t eat them. Even though I was still hungry, I paid and left.

Food is unfortunately very disappointing. They looked good but tasted badly. Salmon didn’t taste anything like they didn’t season it. Especially the spinach. On the plate, they put like a pesto sauce but it wasn’t enough to give flavor for the whole dish. The chicken was lil bit too dry and since it‘s the breast, the seasoning didn’t go through the meat. The sauce also didn’t taste so good, in my opinion.
The lemonade was too watery. It’s called sour lemon or something but not sour at all. Moreover, we ordered a bottle of still water but the bottle says sparkling even though it was really still water. It means that they REFILL the bottle with TAP WATER and sell it for 6,5€. It is too expensive for a BOTTLE OF TAP WATER REFILLED IN A BOTTLE so they can make more money.
The place looks fancy but don’t expect too much for the food.

Main dish came 10 minutes before the side dish and the drinks came even later. A bit confused about that order. By the time the drinks arrived at the table we were half way done with our (lukewarm) food. The server bringing our drinks also put the tray directly onto the table – not sure if it’s lack of proper training or maybe being new? Either way, that’s a bit odd. The waitress was really sweet though.

Good steakhouse but a bit pricy for what you get. The atmosphere is great, we sat outside for dinner and were brought blankets as it was chilly. The waiters are very friendly and are here to help. The steak we order was well done although we had order it medium rare, waiter took it back and brought a correctly cooked steak. The side dishes are for me are a bit pricy for the portion you get but sufficient and yummy. Also ordered their spicy burger was full of flavor but a shame they didn’t ask how to cook the patty (medium, well, etc). The spare ribs are definitely worth it, tender, juicy and flavorful. The big disappointment of this meal was the dessert, if it wasn’t for the dessert I would’ve probably given 4 stars. The red velvet was over cooked and thus super dry, icing was okay but more would’ve been appreciated because of how dry the cake was. The cheesecake was good nothing out of this world but again the portion small for the price paid. I wouldn’t drive all the way here for dinner/lunch but if it was near by I would not mind coming back.

The loin ribs are marvelous I will definitely go back to eat them again. The atmosphere is tremendous, and the waiters are very kind. Unfortunately the desserts are really not reaching that level of the steaks and meats and that’s why the three stars. The chocolate soufflé is actually not a chocolate soufflé and the cheese cake is not worth the price. It is my favorite steakhouse in Bremen but unfortunately the pastries are not good …..

The service here was great, but we had to wait a while for our order (3 burgers with fries) to arrive. Although that was a bit disappointing, I think they handled the situation very well. They apologized and offered us a cop of coffee (on the house) at the end of the night, which we really appreciated. The food tasted delicious, and overall we had a great night.
P.s. I hope the waiter with the glasses enjoys his trip to Zandvoort! 🙂

We visited this restaurant yesterday as a family—my wife, our two kids, and I—and had a fantastic dining experience! From the start, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent.
We began with some drinks and starters, and for the main course, my wife ordered a 200g tenderloin steak with salad, while I had a 250g Rumpsteak with mashed potatoes. The kids enjoyed their burgers and mac and cheese. The food was absolutely delicious! The steaks were cooked perfectly, flavorful, and satisfying. While 250g was just right for me, food enthusiasts might enjoy a 300g portion. A 200g tenderloin with just a salad might feel a bit light unless paired with other side dishes, but with mashed potatoes, it was a well-balanced meal.
The prices are on the expensive side, but considering the quality of the food, the beautiful ambience, and the excellent hospitality, it’s definitely worth it. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great steak and a pleasant dining experience!
