I went here for a drink one night just to mix it up. I believe it’s part of a hotel. It had plenty of seating, and a fair sized bar area with seats. It feels like you’re in a ship with the decor. The appetizers were meh, but I think it was just what we got (Mexican street corn dip). Overall it’s a nice place, staff are friendly, and I bet the actual food isn’t bad. I would go again.

A very busy Saturday evening and yet the food and service was fantastic. My burger cooked perfectly. The other guest at the table especially loved their seasonal salads and pumpkin hummus appetizer. Adam, our server, weaved through the busy floor with grace, attending to every one of his tables as if they were his only ones. Really, just a great experience.

The Armory Lounge is a classy place located within the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa. We stopped by for some dessert and after dinner drinks. The orange cremesicle cake was awesome! This is a great spot for date night or a sophisticated drink as well.

Located within the Portland Regency Hotel but clearly a spot for local after work patrons as well. Food is reliable and consistently good, as is the service. Atmosphere is comfortable but can get a little loud sometimes – a happy kind of loud. Recommend.

We love the Armory bar inside the Regency on a cold winter night. The vibe is very cozy and the cocktails are always delicious. George makes the best cosmo and dirty martini. Food is just okay but we really go for the cocktails and snack plate!

am blown away by the food I ate last night at the Armory! I’ve come here for years for the fancy cocktails and one time I had an impressive charcuterie board but never came for dinner. I saw the Maine restaurant week menu and knew I had to visit. The bartender informed my husband and I that they have a new chef from Boston and let me tell you, he knows what he is doing! I had the seafood cakes to start and my husband had the arancini. Both were on point! For my main course I had the parsnip risotto. OMG! The risotto was cooked perfectly. It was creamy with a sweet sauce, some crunch, fresh spinach, salty Parmesan, just the right balance! My husband had the pappardelle bolognese which he loved. For dessert I had the raspberry cheesecake. It was rich and smooth with the perfect amount of sauce and fresh raspberries. My husband had the flourless chocolate torte and he devoured it. Our server recommended a bottle of Malbec which was delightful. A fantastic experience!

Pro tip: To get to the Armory, keep walking when you enter the hotel and head downstairs. On the right will be the bar’s door.

Cocktails were not our favorite. The jalapeño margarita was bitter didn’t taste good. Enjoyed the hummus good price point generous portion. Cozy lounge good music and plenty of seating available. Nice ambiance and excellent customer service.
