Super cute and cozy place with friendly and quick service. They had a great looking menu and we tried the cheese curds to start, them my husband got the Cowboy burger on Texas toast and I tried the Anchor burger (sub veggie patty), also on Texas toast. Everything was toasted and done to perfection, and even tried the sweet potato tots with their recommended dipping sauce and it was amazing! Definitely recommend you make this a place to try!

Friday night game night / date night brought us to Celina. We were looking for something downtown that didn’t break the bank and found “The Anchor.” The place was fairly busy and we were seated in the “back garage.” Great for extra seating and ill bet its even better when the weather is nice and the patio is open! I ordered the “Cowboy Burger” and my wife ordered the “Jalapeño Popper Burger.” Both with beer battered french fries. Even though they seemed pretty busy, our food arrived surprisingly quick! The burgers were absolutely delicious and the fries were spot on! If you’re around the Celina area, I definitely recommend checking out “The Anchor” on Main St. Downtown!

Tried this place out based on lots of positive reviews and they did not disappoint! The atmosphere was intimate and relaxed and they had a really great menu for both drinks and food. Service was prompt and the food came quickly. We had the Wisconsin cheese bites and each had a burger. Delicious! Would definitely recommend this place for a date night or small get together.

I had the corn poblano smash burger. The patties had a great sear, the edges were crispy like they should be, and the sandwich was not dry. House made sweet potato tots were an upgrade from chips, and worth every penny. I chose to add a bit more salt to both, but I left entirely happy. I tasted my daughters’s portion of roasted Brussels, and they were divine! The basalmic drizzle was just right. She was pleased with her Rueben, and appreciated the thinly sliced corned beef. I can’t wait to make the 2 1/2 hour trip back for more!

We had a table of 8, 2 were small children under 4. 3 seperate bills and each bill was changed a gratuity fee of 20%. A tip is earned, not taken without earning it. A tip is at the discretion of the person giving it. While the server did a great job, she walked away with over $40 in a tip, we had no choice in paying. If that’s the house rules, fine, but let customers know in advance, not when the bill shows up. I had a friend that was him and his wife. They did not get hit with the fee.

Wonderful food. Server Kevin was so nice and checked on us frequently. This was our first visit. We were seated at one of the two window seats. It was nice. Made it feel like a more private dinner. We will be back!

I can’t believe we didn’t discover this place sooner! I cannot wait to return! Service was fast and our waitress was super nice. The atmosphere is just so casual yet a bit of swanky. These are some of the best burgers we’ve ever had! We had pretzel sticks and they were just as amazing. Give this place a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
