The food here is fabulous, fresh, and hot. It always seems quiet but the service is super fast. The peanut sauce served with the spring roll is exquisite. Good curry, pad Thai and noodle dishes. I will go again and continue to recommend.

I had the beef green curry with rice and loved every bite of it. The sauce had just the right amount of heat/spicyness with a rich and creamy coconut base. It harkened back to the rich flavor that the original Taste of Thai restaurant had in Peoria. I also had the fried egg rolls and they were cooked flawlessly. The hostess and her father, the cook, were both warm and very welcoming. It’s a new restaurant and based on the meal I had, I’m looking forward to returning.

Good, similar to Thai Tyme next door. Spring rolls good, but not as good as Thai Tyme. Curry dishes just as good. Service is on the slow side. Bathrooms clean.
UPDATE: “Happy hour” pricing from 5-6pm Tues, Wed and Thurs was a good deal. When I called today to verify this was still ongoing, I was told they no longer offer it.

I stuck it out and dined in, but there was a faint musty smell eminating from the restaurant and from the vegetables in my food.
Crab rangoon and egg rolls were flavorless and not appetizing. The general taos entree was very tasty but only the chicken portion, the vegetables had a weird odor.

Been going here since 1985. Best chinese food in central illinois. Service is usually prompt and polite. Prices very reasonable and portions are large. Great hot and sour soup!

Before eating here I asked if they use any MSG in their food. MSG is toxic and found in many Americanized outlets. To make a long story short, I was told that the only way they would add MSG to their food is if I requested it and brought it in myself. As it turns out chefs for the Hilton chain are sent right here to train on the old world skills of Chinese cooking and I was shown a notarized document to prove it. Gee wiz who would have expected that one. I was also told that MSG originated in Germany anyway. So I looked it up and found this, “glutamic acid had been isolated in 1866 by the German chemist Karl Ritthausen…” To hear how they prepare their food sounded like an artistic and very intricate science. So needless to say the food was excellent as well as the tea. These people are experts focused on preserving the integrity of this cultural treasure. We will be back again.

Great food, even ten years later. My roommate and I used to eat here at least weekly in college. Wonton soup and crab rangoon are the best I’ve eaten, anywhere.

Ordered online for delivery to eat during my lunch hour. Waited an entire hour for the delivery. I tried to call to check on the order but go just a beep and silence. I finally decided to drive down to the restaurant and pick up or check status. Turns out it was closed. Call first before ordering online.

Staff is SUPER friendly and accommodating. Great menu and fantastic food! Celebrating a birthday and they brought out special desserts. Very thoughtful!
