The place to go for amazing beers on draft. Hill Farmstead, Grimm, Upstate, Other Half, Thin Man, and Zero Gravity to name a few. Owner Erin and staff know beers and their food. A hole in the wall bar. Really liked the food. Had a pizza and their chili. Both were good. They serve the chili with sour cream, not my thing but when in Rome..? All beers are craft minus a Guinness on tap. About 20+ on tap. Decor is aged and may give you uneasy feeling walking in but nothing to fear, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Would definitively patronize again and try some other food.

Despite the explosion of craft breweries and beer bars in the area, the Ale House is still the best for beer lovers. They’ve been serving craft beer for far longer than anyone else, and unlike most other establishments, they have many styles that range beyond the over hopped IPA’s or over roasty stouts which dominate almost every other place.
