The place is nice with plenty of seating space and a bar. They have a variety of food to pick from at a decent price. We just got some chicken strips, fries and two Cokes and it was 15 bucks. The service was good but the strips were bland and didn’t have much flavor. We played some slots but didn’t win anything. They also have a pool table. It was OK for a quick bite.

Spacious Bar next to a Holiday Inn Express. Wings were on special (Wednesdays) and were excellent quality and cooked perfectly. Coleslaw was great, so good that I took a second order of it back to my hotel room. I also got a Mountain Chili to go. It was thick with lots of beans, meat, and cheese. I added a sugar packet to sweeten it up a bit.
The space was on the cold side, but there were lots of TVs and games to play. Darts, video slots, pool, etc.
Service wise, they had one bartender trying to serve everyone. She did a good job of it, but it was busy and she was running every where. They really should have a couple more on the wait staff. The kitchen seemed well staffed as they delivered the food.
I must say all the dishes looked good as they came out and I won’t hesitate to eat here again when staying at the Holiday Inn Express Greentree.

Another standout is the Jerry Garcia sandwich—fried chicken tossed in their signature hippie sauce, topped with Swiss cheese, pickles, and coleslaw, all on a soft brioche bun. It’s the perfect balance of crispy, tangy, and savory, and it definitely hit the spot.

The food is AMAZING! The music is soothing, if you like WINGS this is your go to spot, be sure to get the “HIPPIE” wings. You will not be disappointed! The bartender/cook/everything, JoJo is the BEST. He’ll take care of you, if you take care of him if you know what I mean. If I could give this place 10 stars I would ✨️ I’m not a local but I’m from Texas, and when I eat good food and I’m taken care of I’ll leave a good review. Thanks again JoJo for the BEST service and AMAZING food!!!

This sucks because I used to go here every day. Spent probably 1000s over the course of my time working in green tree and the pandemic. Today I Ordered a buffalo chicken. Payed extra for the meal(which doesn’t include a drink) to upgrade to the poutine fries, and added a side of ranch. They didn’t put gravy on my fries, and they tried to not give me the ranch that came with the meal (that they reduced in size). This sucks. The quality has taken a hit. I just paid $16.50 and didn’t get what I ordered. I had to go back inside for the ranch. When I called. They didn’t offer a refund or anything to make it right. It just sucks. Good luck alcove. It’s a real bummer. I really miss what you were. Edit for the owner who replied: I wrote this review when I got home the day I ordered before I touched the food.

The best bartender around, service is killer everytime! Good food, fun atmosphere, and even during the busiest of times it’s still a great vibe. Highly recommend.

This is a local beer spot in the Greentree / Westwood neighborhood. They have trivia on Mondays and sometime a general music DJ other days of the week. The bar is local and an easy walk to spot.
But honestly, if the male bartender JOJO is not there, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
All the other staff have no idea how to complete basic tasks like making drinks or serving a cold beer. I had a sandwich order and ten minutes later, the bartender/ waitress was randomly walking around at tables with my food trying to figure out whose order it was…. I literally was at the bar. The bar was half way full for a Saturday night, and the bartenders were clueless on how to function. They are not active listeners and they just go through the motions.
Again, if JoJo is working, this a great spot for wings and cold beer. Otherwise, simply walk out, it’s not worth your time or money.

Rome Mystery
First time at this place. Hidden gem with ample parking. Connected to hotel if you’re staying. Food was delicious. We ordered a buffalo chicken salad and buffalo chicken wrap. The food was phenomenal. Will definitely return.
