We had such a nice time at the Cat Cafe. The staff were so nice and welcoming and the cat lounge is incredibly clean and comfortable. The kittens and young cats were, of course, the best and absolutely adorable and we had fun playing with them. It was also very enjoyable to spend time with fellow cat lovers and kids. After our time in the lounge we had a nice drink and slice of cake.

I have been so excited to finally have a cat cafe in Alaska, and this place did not disappoint!
Their first priority is the cats, and you can tell before meeting the cats. The waiver talks about how to treat the cats so they are happy and healthy. There is a double door system to prevent cats from escaping into the cafe area. There are towers, chairs, toys and all comfy options for the cats and people to relax. The staff know the cats by name and are upfront about adoption availability and their personalities. When you walk into the cat area, the cats are content. On both occasions the staff brought out treats. Warning, do this at your own risk because the cats are aware of the treats and will surround you with adorable meows.
The cafe area has the usual espresso drinks and Lotus drinks (which are always my go to), but they also have delicious looking pastries and sometimes more substantial food. The first time I went they had a delicious Mac and cheese. I should have asked for the recipe. Some of the desserts I remember are cakes, danishes, brownies, and muffins.
I think that 15 dollars for one hour with the cats is more than reasonable. I wish more people knew about this place. If you have extra cat supplies please contact or donate to this place. They are trying really hard to keep this cafe open for the love of the cats.

I’ve always wanted to go to a cat café and I was absolutely stoked when I heard that we finally have one in Alaska. I am an unofficially certified crazy cat lady and spending time at this café was like visiting my own personal Heaven. The staff are friendly and kind. The “kitkat” mocha was deliciously refreshing (I had mine iced)
If you love cats, you just *have* to go here. So many precious felines to snuggle

All of the staff are so friendly and sweet, all of the food items I’ve tried are delicious (even my 4 year old loved all of it!) and they’re very informative and helpful with all of the cats, you can tell their hearts are in it. It’s always sparkling clean, and they’ve gone above and beyond for me everytime I’ve went. Love everything about this place, especially their mission to help and save rescue cats and kittens. ❤️

The AK Cat Cafe is such a great little place! We didn’t try the food, but had a drink and visited the little kitties. Some were sleeping, some were playing. The staff member in the room was calm and knowledgeable about the kitties and their stories. She knew who likes who, who plays with what and who liked to be petted a certain way. Very friendly staff. The place was super clean. Cozy for kitties. What a great place in AK! So happy they opened. Ill go back for sure! 🙂 Thank you for taking such great care of them and making a difference.

This is an ideal oasis for cat lovers in a crazy world. The cat room is clean, spacious, and has several couches and comfy chairs for you to chill with the kitties. The servers will come deliver your coffee to you in the cat room. And the coffee is delicious!

Went today and enjoyed a drink and dessert from the cafe and spent time in the cat lounge. It was both clean and fun! If you know cats, the more you want them to interact with you, the more they ignore you however, it was still fun to enjoy their company.
Overall, this was a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone wanting something positive and worthwhile to support. ❤️

I’ve been 2x to The cat cafe & have had such a fun time visiting with the floof balls. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the kittens are so happy to have the clean space, peers and toys to play with, & of course visitor’s to come see them! The staff has been great each time. This place is everything. Just moving here it was one of the first things I got out to do and boy was it so refreshing and inviting! All of the cats are so well loved and cared for there and their thoughts and consideration for each possible adoption is stress relieving knowing they are going to great homes! I enjoy each and every visit and I always have a little something to sip on while I’m there!! I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet but so far not a single one has missed!! Don’t think, just go!!
