Small quaint place with a subtle welcoming feel. The service was quick and the server was friendly and welcoming. The lunch combo was great, actually a decent amount of food for a good price.

The beef skewers were perfectly cooked, so tender, the sweet caramel marinade with a hint of lemongrass made the skewers a perfect combo with the extra spicy Laos style papaya salad. The sticky rice with the umami flavored fish sauce and padek sauce from papaya salad was perfect.

It’s no mystery why this place is still here and has 4.5 stars. Must go place for Lao food.

Tried them last night for the first time. Never had Thai or Laotian cuisine before. Been watching the Ken burns Vietnam war documentary lately and it made me want to try southeast Asian food lol.

I got the Laotian sausage and drunken noodles. The sausage tasted like MAMA ramen noodles which is a good thing lol and the drunken noodles reminded me of chow mein kinda. If given a choice between chow mein and drunken noodles im definitely choosing drunken noodles

Drunken noodles > chow mein

Food was decent and very flavorful.
Loved the beef skewers! Thai tea was too sweet. My biggest issue with this place is when it came time to payment, only then did we find out they don’t accept card payment, only cash, apple cash, or Venmo which is the most bizaare thing.

Stopped by Sacramento and decided to try this place since I saw their fish laap on yelp and really wanted to try it out. Customer service was a plus, our server was super sweet. Was satisfied was all my food especially the lao style papaya and Lemongrass beef skewers, but I was so disappointed when I saw the fish laap. The portion was so little and you can barely see any meats, and no flavor at all. Bathroom needs cleaning also, it was super dirty.

This is one of my favorite places to grab Laotian cuisine. It’s a cute, cozy, resturant with red brick walls (not real) interior. The ambiance I get when I sit inside is as if I am outdoors in the evening time. All the pictures are beautoful photos of their homeland and the service has always been great. The papaya always hits and is so good everytime I come here. This last time I ordered a spicy pad krapao but it wasn’t spicy at all sadly, however all the other times I’ve come here for khaopoon, laos sausage, Nam khao, etc it all tasted delicious. The female servers are so fun to talk too also, not really the guys imo ‍♀️ I love coming here and come when I am craving some delicious laos dishes.

My experience was my first time being there over at Jannoi’s App-Khao. It was kinda busy during lunch business hour. We have to wait for our food a bit longer due to only one server working there, other than that the food was quite delicious and very satisfied. I give it a two thumbs up for this review experience.

First time at Jannoi’s App-Khao, and it won’t be the last. Food was fresh and delicious. Family owned and operated. We went for lunch and there was a little wait time as the place was packed. But it was worth it, the prices are very good, big portions. If you’re in the mood for Thai food. I would highly recommend this place.
