Speak easy atmosphere, on the smaller side but cozy. We sat at the bar and got a flight of wine each with a charcuterie board to share. Can’t wait to go back. Good for first date or just friends catching up over wine.

As part of our 20th anniversary celebration, my wife and I made a quick stop at The Aging Oak in Cambridge — and we’re so glad we did. We went in just for a wine flight and their charcuterie board special, but the experience ended up being a real highlight of our evening.
The special included three types of wine and a choice of either a cheese or meat board. My wife is all about the cheese, and I lean more toward the meats — and the staff were kind enough to give us a mix of both. We ended up with a delicious selection: spicy Havarti, port cheese, and prosciutto. But the star of the board, hands down, was the maple onion jam. It paired beautifully with the cheeses, meats, and crackers — absolutely bursting with flavour.
The pickles that came with the board were also excellent — tangy and crisp, they really added a nice touch.
Even though it was just a short visit before heading off to dinner elsewhere, The Aging Oak left a great impression on both of us. Great wine, a thoughtful charcuterie board, and cozy atmosphere — we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed and tasty stop in Cambridge.

I thought there would have been some more tapas items – but that appears to just be one night a week. It was a bit loud as it was busy around the bar during happy hour. Snacks we chose were good and service was great.

My best find yet. Great whiskey flights. My husband had the premium flight and I, the Irish one. The split board is huge and a great amount of food for two people. The host was very knowledgeable. It is a small place. Even knowing we did not need, I would strongly recommend reservations.

Wow. What a great little whiskey bar. My wife and I went here for our Anniversary. If you are thinking of checking it out be sure to make a reservation. We got lucky and was there early enough that there was one table that wasn’t going to be there for an hour and a half.
So we got the the cheese patter and it was amazing I can’t remember the types of cheese that were on it but they were all delicious.
Drinks were great too, a large variety Whiskey but also lot of other mixed drinks and beer if that’s what you would rather have.
All in all worth checking out and we can’t wait to go back.

We celebrated our anniversary here and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the whiskey cocktails to the appetizers, dinner, and dessert—everything was absolutely delightful. The service matched the quality of the food, and we’ll definitely be back!

Severs/Bartenders are great people and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I highly recommend coming in when they have live music (Thursday + Saturday) and having a drink/bite to eat. Would come again

What a great little Whiskey Bar! This was the first time I’ve had my whiskey smoked, and let me just say that the Manhattan was unreal, absolutely loved the smoked character it added. Food was delicious as well and great friendly staff! Highly recommended!

We went for dinner here back in December 2021 for my boyfriend’s birthday. Everything exceeded expectations! We had the Lobster Gratin and Prosciutto Wrapped Brie for appetizers and they were both AMAZING! Would recommend both dishes! We had the Creamy Chicken Tuscan Gnocchi and I believe it was a Prosciutto and Peach Flatbread (not currently on the menu). I loved the flatbread (please bring it back)! My boyfriend liked the gnocchi! The cheesecake was also delicious. Would definitely recommend!!!
