And suddenly, I felt like I was in downtown Chicago! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The sign outside to Bruno‘s Pizza, home of the 24 inch pizza but don’t be fooled. The Perbacco restaurant is all class. There was a lively chatter at the bar and TVs were on. The mixed drinks and beers were flowing. The service was friendly and classy. Every detail was taken care of. The lasagna had a lightly salty but meaty/tomato-y taste that made you want to shove another bite in your mouth immediately. They must have osmosis clarified water because it was spectacular and clear and cleared your pallet for the next item. Pepsi products are offered.
For dessert, choose the chocolate cake. I am used to a small sliver of a rich cake, but this was a homemade size cake slice. It was so chocolatey and covered with a thin layer of chocolate coating, served with a dab of chocolate mousse and a delicious juicy strawberry . I ate part of it there and took the rest home and enjoyed it for two more days. It is so rich that it is hard to eat in one sitting. There is plenty of parking but in inclement weather it gets pretty nasty because it is not asphalt all around. The aisles are wide enough to accommodate handicapped persons. This is definitely a must visit place hidden in what appears to be a downtrodden strip mall. But you won’t regret enjoying any kind of special celebration here!

I am always looking for great places to eat, and this place checks all the boxes. What a fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is top-notch. The waitress Lisa was extremely pleasant and friendly, never more than a few steps away. Verry attentative to anything we needed. The food was outstanding.
I had the Toscana Gnocchi, and it was one of the best itilian dishes I have ever had. My wife had the chicken parm in a house made vodka sauce, which was also outstanding. For dessert, we had the carrots cake and chocolate cake with a red wine reduction sauce….as Lisa said it makes you think of Christmas. WOW, were they both good! Outstanding itialian restaurant!

We decided to try this place out while we were out on a drive. I thought the food was very good, and had very very fair portions for what you paid for. I would likely come again as the food and service was good.

Not impressed. Their food seems to be overrated. The Alfredo sauce was either from a jar or just completely tasteless. I asked the server for “fresh” mozzarella cheese for the bruschetta and she brought me grated mozzarella. Disappointed.

This place doesn’t look like much from outward appearances. But as is so often the case, the food is outstanding. Some of the best Calamari I’ve had in a long time. Big meaty pieces and cooked to perfection, not to death as too many other restaurants do. If you like spicy I recommend the Saccotini. It made me sweat! And the Tiramisu is excellent. Obviously homemade in house. A nice friendly atmosphere makes you feel like you’re dining at a friends house. I highly recommend you go and enjoy!

Great place. Haven’t found a dish I don’t like. The lasagna is my favorite. It’s a big enough portion to share or bring home leftovers. Service is good and the atmosphere is nice.

My mom and I came to town and decided to try this place. They wanted a reservation but was able to squeeze us in. Fabulous food and atmosphere. Best Lasagna I have ever had in my life. Mom had the spaghetti with meatballs.

This restaurant is really great. It gets my vote for best Italian food in the entire area. It’s also one of my family’s favorite restaurants period. Bruno knows how to run a great establishment.
The service is excellent and the food is as good as it gets. Try the grouper, lasagna, scallops, and pasta with vodka sauce. A true favorite for locals who enjoy great food. Try it, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better dining experience in all of Michiana.
