First time trying their donuts today. WOW! Took me back.
In the 70s I lived a mile away from Dawn Donuts, in Saginaw. When I was a kid I would ride my banana seat bike with a basket to get Saturday morning donuts to watch Saturday morning cartoons. Those donuts were the best. You didn’t taste lard, grease or chemicals. That old fashion taste seems like a forgotten trade.

Today I took a bite of that blueberry long John and was sent back in time. Pure donut taste perfection. They truly don’t make donuts like this anymore. But Randy at ABC does. Amazing local business that needs to be given your business. Yummy! Whole family approves!
And the picture cake he made is perfection!!!

Randy was such a pleasure to work with! We wanted a special cake for our wedding to incorporate my husband’s Ukrainian culture, the Napoleon cake. We searched everywhere calling several bakeries in Jackson, Lansing, and other surrounding areas, and Randy was the only bakery willing to take it on. And he out-did himself! My husband’s family said it was better than their family recipe and our guests loved it! His pricing is very reasonable too. We wish we had booked him for our other cake too but had already placed a deposit with someone else. When we stopped in to pay him the weekend of our wedding, we purchased some other treats from his store and they were delicious. We look forward to making a stop in here on future road trips to take a trip down memory lane. Thank you, Randy! You added a special touch to our wedding day and we can’t thank you enough!

THIS Bakery is a Joke!! They are the worst!! I went in to order my Wedding cake four months ago.Took them samples of the colors and style,flavors. THEY had NO BOOKS to look at. I drew them and picture.THE OWNER REASURED ME..he could do it. I cried when I saw it. They called a hour before we picked it up and said it would be later. They..who ever was frosting it when we picked it up. The taste of the cake was awful!! It looked liked a child did it.Lavender,was grey. NO ROESES. PRESS ON ONES. This morning my wife went to pick up Pacskis from ABC Bakery in Jackson Michigan. This order was made almost one month ago. They had no record of the order even though my wife could show various communications that the order was placed. Mistakes were definitely made. Afterwards she (my wife) posted in her discouragement and disappointment, her dislike of ABC Bakery. This was followed by questions and comments of course. There were a few comments regarding the idea of “treading lightly” because of who is related to who and their connection to friends of ours. Please know that we realize that the bakery’s incompetence does not nor will ever reflect on its relatives YET, as a consequence, as a family and as consumers, we will never support ABC Bakery.

I ordered some paczki online for Fat Tuesday. Picked them up Monday. When I walked in to the bakery for the first time the smells brought memories of home baked food. This is a real bakery and not some store front selling items delivered on a truck. When I got home my wife and I tried a red raspberry and lemon paczki. They are great.
