Stopped in for dinner after a business meeting. I had the chicken Madeira. It was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the service was great.

The sight of spiderwebs and the massive amount of flies kind of a makes meals a little discomforting. Food was decent location sucks. Pass on this place. Too expensive and no ambiance.

My favorite dining establishment in Quincy. The hot lips basket is one of my favorites. Thanks to Gabe and his team for what’s always a great experience.

The Abby is a great place for pub-style dining. A great center bar with an efficient well trained staff. A broad menu with something for everybody and specials of the day. The drive through is convenient for those on the go. Cozy, warm and friendly atmosphere. Laughter is heard often hear. For a casual and fun dining trip, you will not be disappointed. I think the sign that says “The Abbey – A Quincy Tradition” sums it up best. And with all sincerity The Abbey is a very very solid tradition not to be missed. I hope to return very soon . GREAT JOB TO ‘THE ABBEY! KEEP UP THE TRADITION!!!

I had the shrimp basket with the potato salad and fries. It was all worth it. We also had the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, and they’re amazing!

We went there 5/5/2023. We ordered a appetizer and 2 steaks medium rare with baked potatoes. Steaks were so tough it was like sawing through meat with the knife. We both took one bite and chewed forever. I’ve personally never chewed a steak the was “supposed ” to be cooked MR for so long my jaw started hurting. Needless to say neither steak was eaten and when our server asked if everything was okay and we both complained without skipping a beat she replied “well it is a tough cut of beef.” Funny thing is that it had nothing at all to do with the steak but everything to do with how it was cut and prepared. I order the same cut at another restaurant and it’s like cutting butter. Yet we paid the bill even left a generous tip(that we shouldn’t have especially with her excuse) and will never eat there again. Lesson learned. Even when you think it may be fancy or something different stick to place’s that if your food ever came out of the kitchen and neither person could eat it they at least try to make it right and not make excuses. Food for thought..pun intended. That by far was not service I would applaud, appreciate or return to. I’d rather spend over $100 elsewhere.

Great deal for the money- very large portions. Good service and friendly people. Much busier on the week end, since many come from the local farms and nearby towns.

This was a very lovely place. There was a little bit of a wait to get in but overall not too bad. We had a kind, prompt server who took very good care of us. Unfortunately, it was a little bit loud due to a large crowd sitting right next to us. Our orders were taken quickly. They had a special rum and Coke. Super good deal for a double $6.50. My husband and I both ordered ribeye steaks with salads. Salad dressing was delicious and had quit a lot of veggies on it for topping Our steaks were perfect and cooked to our liking. Loved the twice baked potato and wow to the bread! My son had corn dog bites and they were super good too I had to steal one. We enjoyed our dinner and we would definitely come back. Recommend this place!
