I dined in for lunch today to try the restaurant week menu.The atmosphere was cozy with upscale decor. The staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the duck crostini as my appetizer and was very impressed. The pairing of tender duck with goat cheese and pepper jelly worked well. For my entree,I got the fried chicken cutlet.It was juicy with the perfect amount of crunch to the outside. The gravy was flavorful and just the right consistency. It was served atop cheesy orzo that I thoroughly enjoyed. I was full from eating only half so I ordered my dessert to go. I got the bread pudding which my server said was a regular item. When I got home I opened the bread pudding to try and was surprisingly disappointed.I had a tiny sliver but was charged $8.75 for it! Also it was overrated and hard .Overall I liked the food and experience but underwhelmed with dessert. I didn’t take pictures of the dessert since I was in disbelief. Would still return for regular menu and charcuterie options.

City Pork is one of our favorite local spots, especially to celebrate special occasions. We always love the food, and they have a good kids menu. I got the “Pick 7” charcuterie board and it tasted as amazing as it looks! I’ve also had the cuban sandwich and pulled pork on previous visits which were great too. We don’t go often because they have a very limited draft beer selection, but for special occasions it’s perfect.

Extremely disappointed! I ordered the city pork chop but it was burnt and non edible, especially on the sides. I managed to salvage some non burnt parts in the middle. The mash potato tasted good though. Will not recommend anyone ordering this.

I ordered the cp breakfast plate and I asked for extra gravy on the biscuit and didn’t receive it. The then my wife decided to have of a taste of the biscuits and gravy and it was cold. So, the young lady took my plate back and immediately brought it back and said they are heating the gravy.( i get it so i could eat and so they wouldn’t have to remake a plate of food) she asked me after the fact do they want the kitchen to remake the food. So that would have put me into a position to where I couldn’t have enjoyed my plate in its entirety and also wait even longer. This place was empty. Its no excuse to have cold food.

Great spot to have a meal and hang with your friends and family. They have a great patio with ceiling fans to keep the air moving and keeping it as cool as it can be. The staff is really friendly and attentive. The drinks and beer are on point and the food was GREAT. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Also plenty of parking. If your visiting you should for sure check this place. As for locals, I’m sure they already know how awesome this place is =)

We tried this one for restaurant week in Baton Rouge. This place is fantastic. Ms. Janice is one of the best waitresses we’ve had, period! The Reuban egg rolls took me by surprise, only to find out they’re not on the regular menu. THAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED!! They were delicious. We will definitely be back. Keep it up guys! (And add those egg rolls as a regular)

It was the evening that we were leaving our son at college and we were breaking down crying. Our waitress was amazing. She brought out their best dessert right on time to try and make everyone feel better. This is our second time there and not only is the food and dessert delicious, the service is impeccable.
