Saw the reviews of this place and couldn’t miss the images of amazing looking Cheesesteaks, which absolutely lived up to expectations. It was definitely one of the better cheesesteaks I’ve ever had in North Jersey and probably the best in Morris County. I got the Chuck Norris Cheesesteak, which had sautéed onions, fresh jalapeños, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and a house made habanero chipotle sauce. Also had to get their Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese, which was quite good as well. The owner was welcoming and kind, gave me a brief overview of the place, and I look forward to returning in the near future.

I Highly recommend The 53 Grill. I have been coming here for years. Everytime I visit I get top notch food, service and prices! I must visit in Denville, especially for newly added items and daily specials. The brisket cheese steak and homemade tuna sandwiches are amazingly good! Excellent staff service, food was good for a quick bite, and loved all the old school Marvel themed walls. A tad bit expensive but overall excellent. Had chicken chorizo quesadillas and fiance had the special of the day cheese steak.

The sandwich was so poorly made and only put a tongue of cheese. The two girls working are working as if it’s their first time and are talking the whole time. I understand that we’re in the middle of a pandemic but at least attend to the clients a little better.

I called in, not knowing the menu. A polite man(I think the owner answered) picked up the phone and gave me some recommendations. I got the chuck norris roundhouse kick cheesesteak and an order of fries. Hands down, one of the best cheesesteaks I have ever had in my life! And the fries were great too. I will be ordering here frequently in the future. He also mentioned he makes fresh brisket, and I can tell all the food is made with love

Not only is it an unbelievable Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese sandwich but they are very accommodating.
I had my dog with me on our morning walk and blindly walked in to order not thinking about the dog. The owner was respectful and asked me to wait outside as there are health codes etc.
He came out to confirm my order and even brought out the pay station to help me. Class A service and awesome breakfast sandwich.
