We drive thru Cameron all the time cutting across to Temple etc. and it’s about mid way so usually want to stop for a bite but get tired of all the same stuff, you can get every where else, Mexican, DQ, Sonic.

The food was delicious. My patty melt was amazing it had a great homemade taste. I love the atmosphere and the 50s theme. The only two complaints I have is everything is a little pricey and the drinking glasses were really small I only got a few sips out of my drink. Other than that I liked this restaurant.

Great food and small town atmosphere. Their chicken fried steak is easily top three and I’ve had chicken fried steak at several places in Texas. Their tea is served in mason jars which is a nice touch. Will be coming back again!

Excellent service and food! The burgers, chicken fried steak and salads were wonderful. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. I hope our next trip will take us back through Cameron just so we can eat here!

We showed up an hour before they open at 11 and they let us in gave us something to drink and we took our time to order but they served us well. Free WiFi is great and fast. I ordered the alligator appetizer and lone star burger and my buddy got the chicken fried chicken we were both really happy

What a neat place. Real table cloths and napkins. Great food. Had their homemade German chocolate pie and it was awesome. Btw, the waitress was outstanding. Very pleasant surprise in the small town of Cameron Texas

We saw this places we were driving by and happen to be ready for dinner. More or less you were standard issue burgers and chicken fried steak fair at fair prices. It’s New so I expect there’s still some tinkering to do with the decorations, the atmosphere seems to be going for the local joint ambience, & I expect they’ll get there. I liked the local photos on the wall, I would recommend they add the graduating class pictures from at least the 50s and 60s.
