My co-worker and I stopped in for lunch and overall had a good experience. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, which made it a nice spot for a midday meal. The meals we both ordered were decent, though a bit on the salty and dry side for our taste. Still, the portions were fair, the atmosphere was comfortable, and it’s a convenient place for a casual lunch. With just a little tweak to the seasoning and preparation, this could easily be a 5-star spot!

The chicken and biscuits from the lunch menu was very disappointing. The chicken tenders were the size of my pinky. Biscuits were room temperature, dry, and crumbly. The glob of pimento cheese on the bottom was very tasty. The jalepeño honey jam had way too much acid, it almost tasted like cocktail sauce. Finally, the cheese grits were completely flavorless… no cheese in the grits themselves. Dry and flavorless. Highly disappointing for $15.

We recently visited Savannah for a week and this was right around the corner. We loved it so much we ate there twice! The shrimp and grits was heavenly and I still am thinking about it days later! We also enjoyed the salmon, fried shrimp and the pie boy!

I ordered the shrimp and grits, fried pickles and strawberry mule. The food was delicious! Every time I took a bite it was new flavors that all came together so well! It was the perfect amount of salt and burst of delicious flavors . The staff here is very friendly .

I had the Cuban sandwich. It was done to perfection. Very moist on the roast pork. A little salty on the ham and Swiss but it all melded together beautifully. We grabbed a shrimp po’ boy for a late night snack. My wife had a delicious chicken salad sandwich too. The only thing lacking was the broccoli slaw. It begged for some sweetness. Either dry cranberries or golden raisins.

Great food, good service, and nice environment. This place surprised me and my wife and stopping by to eat simple and go back on the road, it was well prepared and was so tasty that we will come back for sure. We had chicken fried chicken and BBQ plate, which is simple and we were just expecting the basic but they gave us one of the best experiences in a restaurant with such good meal.

WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD! We just moved here and decided to try the 5 spot. We ordered food to go since we were exhausted from moving and unpacking all day. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fried okra instead of collard greens. FIRST OF ALL, the the fried okra was soooo salty it was inedible, SECOND, the mashed potatoes were super bland with no seasoning, they completely forgot the gravy on my chicken fried chicken, and to top it off they did not give us any utensils or napkins and we really needed them because ours were still packed up. ALSO, when we arrived we called and said we were there and they made us wait an additional 25minutes to where we had to call back again and the girl said she didn’t know we were there.
AFTER all of this, we decided to give them another chance and ordered am appetizer of fried green tomatoes for $13.90 to go with our main dish. When I got the order to go there were 4 medium size slices of tomatoes.
For the costs this is absolutely absurd. I am very disappointed and it is a shame because we live really close. I hope they improve soon. Please see my pics for reference. RIDICULOUS!!!

Had a great brunch here! Would definitely recommend the fried pickles and the biscuits and gravy! Our waiter, Vaux, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made brunch even more enjoyable.
