Bagel selection is great! We tried a couple of bagel sandwiches—the Breakfast Spud and The Reuben—and both tasted amazing. I also ended up buying a tub of cream cheese (scallion & chives and chocolate), which were both delicious. The egg salad was really good too. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Amazing bagels & sandwiches! This is a local, family run business and they are wonderful people who truly make some of the best bagels around! Can’t go wrong with a bacon egg and cheese and the Rueben was a great lunch option. The photo doesn’t do it justice!

Bagel Uprising in Del Ray is hands down the best bagel shop in the area! The bagels are fresh, perfectly chewy, and full of flavor—you can truly taste the quality in every bite. Their spreads and sandwiches are just as amazing, making it impossible to pick a favorite.
On top of the incredible food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a real community feel. Chad, the owner, goes above and beyond—he’s friendly, passionate, and genuinely cares about his customers. You can tell he puts his heart into making Bagel Uprising a special spot for everyone who walks through the door.
If you’re in Del Ray (or even just passing through), this is a must-visit. Bagel Uprising and Chad have definitely earned my five stars!

Great service, always friendly conversations. Good music, outdoor seating tucked away in an alleyway. Huge portions at low prices. Delicious food, and the lunch sandwiches come with fresh chips. 10/10.

Went for breakfast today, probably as busy as it could be but everything was as orderly as possible. Had the “classic” – a lox sandwich. Very good flavor, fish was fresh, and there was a nice little lemon essence moving through which I haven’t noticed in other sandwiches I’ve had recently elsewhere. Would recommend (some sandwiches have a has brown patty on them which was tough to turn down)

Bagel Uprising is such a community hidden gem! Plenty of room to ride your bike in and sit at the outdoor picnic tables, very reasonable price ($6.50 for a breakfast bagel sandwich!) and the ownership is incredible and step up to do good for the community!

My unit at work was lucky enough to get catering from Bagel Uprising one morning and WOW. The bagels were PERFECT! Crunchy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, soft on the inside. So fresh! My personal favorite is the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese.
Everyone who got a bagel commented on how delicious they were and many people went back for seconds.
I highly recommend Bagel Uprising for breakfast, catering, whatever! Definitely one of the BEST BAGELs I’ve ever had in my life (and I’m from Connecticut and grew up eating authentic New York Bagels). The staff were extremely attentive and kind, everything was beautifully packaged when I arrived for pick up.
