Nestled in the heart of Cozumel, That’s Amore brings authentic crafted pizza to the island. Founded by a retired Canadian couple who found both love and a home in Cozumel, That’s Amore is known for its thin crust pizzas- offered in one perfect size—from classic Margheritas to fully loaded creations such as the ‘Princesa’ (for balsamic glaze lovers) or ‘Thats Amore’ (for meat lovers)! For those craving something heartier, That’s Amore also serves a Detroit-style deep-dish pizza, packed with flavor in every bite. A quote displayed in-store captures it all: “On a trip to Cozumel, I met love, and in That’s Amore, I met flavor.” Don’t miss out—a must-try for an unforgettable pizza experience with a family owned touch!

We wanted to try a different pizza resto in Cozumel. We stopped at “That’s Amore Pizzeria” and it was excellent. We had a margeritha and princessa pizza with an amazing thin and crisp crust. Good 12″ pizza and we enjoyed even more the leftover taken home the following day. I wish they would have more choices of drinks like real orange and apple juices. But overall it was excellent.

Wife and I almost ordered pizza elsewhere while having drinks but decided to take a look at reviews for other nearby places. Saw this place was a few minutes walk away and was rated a 4.9 so we figured we shouldn’t settle for where we were because it was more convenient and thank god we didn’t. That’s Amore is an absolute gem and we loved it from the second we walked in the door. Turns out the owners are from Ontario about 2 hours from where we grew up in NY. We immediately were laughing and having a great time and then the Detroit style Warrior came out of the oven. Good lord was it perfect. It was superior to most of the pizzas I’ve had at the major places in Detroit. Actually looking forward to the cold leftovers that I’m about to have out of the hotel room fridge in about an hour.
They’re waiting to get their liquor license so for now it’s BYOB as well which is cool, there’s an oxxo about a 2 minute walk around the block so picked up a couple Indios to go with the pizza. Was just a legitimately great time, Ed was more than happy to give us tips for making better pizzas at home because we have an Ooni and our damn pizzas come out looking like footballs if we’re lucky and get turned into demented calzones when we’re not so lucky so hope his tips give us some more confidence and results moving forward. If you’re staying a few days and need a break from tacos and Mexican food, you should absolutely go see Ed and Nancy and support their new business. We might go back again tonight to do so again ourselves. Thank you for your kindness and great evening!!

Pizza was very good. Had the thin crust might have to try the Detroit Style but will get to go. Seating is on stools around bar and a couple high tops.
One small thing, another customer brought their dog, small German Shepard in and it started fighting with owners dog, which is Chihuahua who was clearly frightened. Would’ve preferred no dogs in restaurant but two fighting was no bueno. Also, dog owners had a discussion about dog getting sick and their bowel movements, not what I wanted to hear while eating.
Anyway, pizza is as good as other reviews have mentioned, next time it’ll be to go for sure.

Visited this highly reviewed place expecting “good for the island” pizza but instead had “good for everywhere” pizza. Some of the best pizza I’ve had. Quality ingredients and an awesome oven lead to really great tasting pizza. Very friendly owner and staff. Will definitely be back on next trip.

Absolutely the best pizza I’ve had in Cozumel – hands down! That’s Amore Pizzería lives up to its name with authentic, handcrafted pizzas made by a true master chef. We ordered the current special pizza “The Elf” and it was perfection: crispy thin crust, fresh toppings bursting with flavor, and that perfect cheesy melt. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious, like a little slice of Italy/New York right on the island.
The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, We sat and ate at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with them about pizza, business, and Island life. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is quick and friendly. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this spot is a must-try for anyone craving top-notch pizza. We’ll be back every time we’re in Cozumel!

On Vacation and just happened to stumble on this spot. First off was met by the Owners in the most courteous and friendly way. I didn’t expect much as in pizza in Mexico? Well boy was I wrong, I had their Pepperoni and Hot Honey Pizza and it was just like being back home in Jersey-awesome Pizza Oven, Great Flavor, and overall Great Experience. Wonderful Job Ed and Nancy from a NJ Chef.

Owned and operated by a lovely, friendly couple from Ontario, Canada – this little pizza place is so clean any mother would be perfectly happy with the ten second rule. The pizza is promptly hand made to order and is delicious! Had a wonderful chat with the owners (fellow Canadians) while we waited. They are so friendly and proud to serve the best pizza on Cozumel. Will be back and will recommend to all.

First time visitor, and I was impressed! They were super friendly and made us feel welcome. We dove into the pizza before I got a picture, but we also ordered the Churro Balls, and those things are absolutely craveable. The pizzas are special, just the right mix of toppings. 100%, you have to go!
