An understated storefront hides a coveted skyline view—just one of the many ways you could underestimate this longtime cafe on Mount Baker’s main drag. The menu, the sign—even the name—are a bit of a throwback, but current owners Guy Devillier and David Hoefer took over in 2018 and keep things attuned to today. Carbonara packs more nuance than you might expect, the slightly crackly pizza’s better than it has to be, and the bar pours lambrusco and negronis. No wonder tables are loaded with a diversity of diners.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Amazing views, the best food, and the best wait staff. We even had our wedding rehearsal here and they made everything so incredibly special. Definitely try the Dungeness crab pasta! We most recently went for Valentine’s Day and everything was perfect.

A delightful neighborhood gem. The energy of the restaurant was buzzing and every table was full on a Monday night. Definitely recommend reservations. The Bruschetta and Fungo Davi were wonderful starters. Guy recommended several popular dishes, but when pressed on what he would want his mother to try he responded with the Rigatoni, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I chose the Linguine which paired wonderfully with the Sauvignon Blanc.

We love this restaurant so much after discovering it on a whim. This is was our third time eating here and it is such a wonderful experience from the time you arrive to the time you leave, feeling happy, full and content.

The food is fantastic and the service was wonderful. Everything is homemade. We had the pizza and the spicy sausage was some of the best we’ve had. The view is amazing. We will definitely be back.

Family style place. The chicken Parm was a little too spicy for me. The pork belly was excellent! Service very friendly. It’s busy! MKe a reservation!

Great service here! Food was exquisite and the risotto cakes with crispy prosciutto was our favorite dish. I recommend you get a reservation to make sure you get a seat.

We had a 9pm Valentine’s seating at That’s Amore! We were served by the incredible Gabriella that guided us through the menu and made sure our glasses were filled, our silverware fresh, and our table clean! Bonus: We were given the table my partner requested with a beautiful nighttime view of the city.

Happened upon this place off of 31st Avenue in Seattle. We always enjoy exploring new Italian restaurants and this small and quaint destination did not disappoint. The featured item was a dungeness crab pappardelle, and it was nothing short of absolutely delicious. The salad with prawns was very well prepared and the prawns were of authentic taste/flavor, which is rare to experience nowadays.

Seattle pizza isn’t something to write home about, but the pizza from here is… for all the wrong reasons. I ordered a Margherita pie for 21 dollars, or so I thought. When I showed up to pick up the pie a 20% service charge which I was told was “a tip for the kitchen”. Okay, if that’s default it should just be part of the price. If it’s a “tip” then it shouldn’t be taxed, but sure enough it is bringing the total for a single Margherita pizza to $27.78… This would be fine if it served 2-4 people, but this is a personal pie.
