This is the perfect takeout Chinese restaurant. I’m giving it five stars even though the atmosphere on the inside isn’t five star quality. This is a much better takeout restaurant than it is a sit-down one. The reason I say that is because the food is good, the service is fast, and it’s a fantastic value. When I used to live here this was our go-to place for Chinese. On this day we ordered two of their dishes with egg rolls and rice, and three of us ate well off of this with lots of leftovers. This is why it turns out just under $10 per person.

OMG!! I got a pickup order from here for the first time. I’ve tried Chinese restaurants in Belle Chase, Harvey , Marrero and this is BY FAR the best I’ve had. I ordered the chicken wings w/shrimp fried rice, wonton soup and egg roll. When I tell you, it took me back to my childhood and the Chinese spot on the corner in Harlem, NY the minute I tasted the rice. I was like “Oh my God”. This felt & looked like the traditional food & restaurant. When I saw a lot of other restaurants in the area only had boneless wings & Imperial Garden actually had real wings, I knew I was onto something and I was right!!! I didn’t eat in the dining area, but it was spacious. The staff were super friendly & energetic which made the atmosphere very welcoming. This is my new & only place for Chinese food going forward. Sorry…I forgot to take a pic of the soup because I devoured it. Lol.

This is some of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten in a long while! Food arrived hot and fresh! Service was awesome! The wonton soup is so tasty. My husband and I both had the sweet and sour chicken. We ate til we were full and still had a lot to take home. – a hidden gem!

Basic decor but always clean. Service is out of this world as ot relates to dine in customers – we have had multiple servers and it’s always the same. Since this is out Friday night date spot we’ve gotten to know 2-3 server and each remembers our base order and the things we like to change up. Our go to is a cup of egg drop soup and an all day special that we split – but we always order an extra egg roll because they are great!

As a weekly customer since before the pandemic, I’ve seen a substantial drop in quality of some items. Today, received large wonton soup with only 3 wontons for $9. It’s sad to see the best Chinese restaurant in the area sacrifice quality. I’d pay higher prices for the quality they used to have. Doubt I’ll be back.
