I would give food a 3.5 if that were possible. My dates prime rib was good and plentiful. I order 2pc cod. The cod was a thin, triangle shape piece maybe a half inch thick. Not what I expected, not great. I was going to order hashbrowns with it but was warned by our wonderful waitress that it was frozen square type. I passed and had fries, they were good! The staff there was fantastic in every area! I think since serving baked potatoes you could easily produce fresh hash browns. I would definitely go again for the great service but will order anything but fish, I can get that from the Gortons fisherman Lol!

My steak was a little bit overcooked, not enough to send it back but enough that it wasn’t just right. The flavor was decent. Lots of fried food; even the Texas toast tasted deep fried. The prices were surprisingly high. Top notch service from our waitress. Oh, they have REALLY good root beer! But if you’re looking for upscale ambiance, keep looking.

This place is like a fine dining restaurant but it is a causal atmosphere. My prime Rib was medium rare and it was phenomenal. Bake potatoe, ajus and horseradish was good.

Made a reservation for 2. They had a party of 15-20 people come in prior to us arriving. The staff was still able to serve us with amazing service. Always amazing food.

It has been 25 years since I’ve been here. Our service was fantastic. The Prime Rib was so lean and tender. The walleye was lightly breaded and very tasty as well. Save room for the black dirt dessert!

Very clicky establishment people were leaving without getting food after being there for an hour when our food came out it was cold. Had to have it re-cooked ,felt like an inconvenience to be there. things felt very rushed. Tried to get in and get you out. Service was mediocre at best..

When I get a craving for a good piece of Prime Rib this place..” That Place ” is my go to.
They have Fried Potatoes too..I believe they’re called ” Cottage Fries ” at this place..” That Place ” and good Lettuce Salads and a nice bowl of Cottage Cheese available as sides.
It is absolutely one of my favorite local meals and it’s always good.
Tonight I even had a piece of pie, I’m normally not a sweets lover but the server described a pie they had and I wish I could remember the name..I’ll call it ” That Pie from That Place ” !! LOL
