Opened February 2020, West End Poke was created by Dave Hillman and Chef Victor Ramirez as a healthy affordable alternative to fast casual food menus. In our first year, during these very tough times, we are proud to announce that we were voted “Best Poke” by the Triad City Beat in their Winston-Salem/Forsyth County edition. Looking forward to 2021 and beyond, we have decided to broaden our menu to include not just Poke, but grilled grain bowls and a fine selection of salads. Just call or go online to place your order and it will be ready in just minutes. We offer contactless curbside service for your convenience. Our bowls make a great meal for both lunch and dinner and are easily transportable. We have seating available inside or in wa…

Diego, who was very nice and helpful, took our order. We ordered The Thai Bowl and a Build your own Bowl with tofu as the protein. The Thai Bowl was delicious, flavorful and very filling!!! The tofu for the other bowl was heavily marinated and very, very, very salty. Sadly she didn’t eat the tofu. Definitely not ordering the tofu again!
It did take a while getting our order as the lunch rush came inside or ordered on online. Diego was the only one in front taking orders and trying to pass out the food to customers. I wished someone would have helped him sooner.
We will come back again! Parking could be tricky if it’s lunch rush hours.
I’m glad my laziness got the better of me last night, because I had a fantastic meal. I got the Bang-Bang fried shrimp bowl. I skipped the “Bang-Bang” sauce and got the Thai peanut ginger sauce. I personally could eat peanut sauce off of a shoe, and this was no different. It was sweet with tons of Umami. I loved everything in this bowl, it was fresh, crunchy, filling and fairly healthy.
What was NOT healthy were those amazing crunchy onion rings. Paired with the dipping sauce, they were simply spectacular. I will be coming back here to try more aspects of the menu. The menu is sorta weird, with smash burgers and Poke bowls on offer. So, strange combo, but who freakin cares, it was delicious and well-priced.
I will say that it would be easy for a vegetarian and or vegan to eat here, the only animal product was the proteins, so that would be easy to avoid for those who dislike eating tasty animals.
