Wow! We were pleasantly surprised.
Our waitress was wonderful, and so helpful. Her explanation of the menu items was spot on.
My daughter enjoyed the Bò Viên (meatballs) and tried something new, one of the house specialities, the S7. Mì Xào Giòn. That was really good. Very filing too.
Highly recommend you save room for the Bánh Flan with coffee on top. That was a delicious twist.

The place is very pristinely decorated. Even though it’s not in the best part of town, you’ll feel safe and clean. There are always fresh flowers on the tables! It’s a nice touch.

The food was so DELICIOUS that we decided to move to Kansas! Just so we can eat here ALL THE TIME. Service was great. Portion sizes are plentiful. Extremely AUTHENTIC Vietnamese food. The eggrolls come with lettuce!! The Phổ – from presentation to taste is unequivocally the BEST. LOVED the Viet coffee! Will go back again and again and will also try that fish.

Fried catfish spring rolls. Family size fed up to five. Amazing dipping sauce. Self wrap. My son got crispy vietnamese crepes. My sisters got porkchop and rice. The other one got Bo Kho. Which was all delicious! Sorry no pics of the rest of the food.

Only open on the weekends as of this review. But with the limited time available, Thao’s Bistro definitely knows how to make it worth’s the time. I’ve been here a few times and it’s probably the best at so many Vietnamese dishes.
My favorite are the Banh Xeo and the Banh Khot… though similar, each taste delicious! definitely recommend coming here

Found this place because of my friend. The first experience was such great, so I’ve talked about this place for the Vietnamese hot pot with my roommates for a while.
The second time here was great as well. I’m so glad and appreciate the owner so nice to explain how Vietnamese people eat those foods to my roommates- they’re Americans, so his explanation is really crucial for the 5 stars. We’re all feeling stuffed and satisfied with the experience. ☺️❤️

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Wichita. I came here a few times and tried different dishes. So far all are delicious. I just wish they would put mint leaves inside their spring rolls as they should. The staff are quick and professional.
