Mayflower Chinese Restaurant has some of the best fried rice I’ve tasted in a long time. The fried rice tasted authentic, with egg mixed in perfectly and great flavor in every bite. It wasn’t greasy or bland like a lot of places—just really well cooked and fresh.
If you’re looking for good Chinese food and authentic fried rice, Mayflower is definitely worth trying. One of the better Chinese food spots around and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I always order the Thai curry chicken and onion dish. It is spicy but you can request little or no spice. The portion is huge! I always have enough leftover for a couple of lunches. In addition to the chicken and onions, there are snow pea pods, carrots mushrooms and sometimes those miniature corn on the cob. My husband loves the beef and broccoli dish. Everything we have tried has been top notch. We usually order once every week or two. It’s a great value and very high quality.

We’ve been looking for a 5star Chinese takeout and we found it! Service was friendly and food was on time and ready in 15-20min. We did a takeout order. Noodles has a nice note of garlic. General Tso and sesame chicken has great flavor! Egg rolls, and crab ragoon cooked to perfection with excellent flavor. Just the right balance of ingredients. Egg drop, dumpling and hot and sour soups we’re top notch! Looking forward to next time!!

Because of a food allergy that you messed up, I will never ever order from you guys again I’ve always spent over $50 with the tip included ordering from your company. You will never get my business again. You are trash. I will send a bad review every single day because you guys messed up on a food allergy and would not accommodate me. I was so happy with your company. The portions were always fantastic but I explained to you that I had a severe allergy to onions when I called after my brother picked up the food. She said oh I’m so sorry. I did put no onion But the kitchen never made it that way so now I’m out $20 for a meal. And you would not deliver the food to me After my brother took the time to come pick it upso bad reviews all across the board I will place one every day $20 worth

Don’t sleep on Chinese chicken wings, especially with their honey sauce and shrimp fried rice. I wish I lived closer, I’d get it more often. The crab rangoon, broccoli with snow peas, and sweet and sour chicken we’re all great. Portions are great too.

Finding good Chinese food in Lakeland has been hard but this is our winner! We love it. We usually get it delivered and the food has always been so hot and fresh. Driver is always very kind and friendly. Pictured below is the shrimp lo mein, chicken mei fun, and the honey chicken combo plate. We also got the hot and sour soup and it’s my favorite! I highly recommend this place.

Love. Mayflower one of the best Chinese food places i have ever tasted so good love the orange chicken and everything else so good the only thing I miss is the noodles for the soup the used to be bigger and crunchy but they changed to smaller ones but other than that I love the food

Very unfortunate that their closing time is the earliest in the area. As a business owner you should notice how you have several people walking in a minute or so after 9pm and they get turned away, I would adjust that to better suite the need for an excellent meal. Really 9pm closing time when every other restaurant is 10 10:30 and 11pm is way to early. Missing out in a lot of business hopefully they will never need it.
