I’m Vietnamese and I have to say their food is legit. The bánh mì is so good, but the coffee is phenomenal. It tastes exactly like what I had in Vietnam. I love the egg coffee and the ube coffee. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Thành Tâm is a welcome new addition to Tallahassee’s dining scene, offering a wide variety of pho options, bánh mì sandwiches, classic appetizers like spring rolls and egg rolls, plus coffee and tea selections. After our visit, it genuinely seems to be the most authentic pho I’ve had in Tallahassee. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care into creating a beautiful, inviting space and delivering consistently high-quality food.
I ordered the roast pork bánh mì (no pâté), and it was excellent. The bread was very fluffy, the vegetables were crisp and tangy, and the pork was well-seasoned and flavorful without being overwhelming. Every bite felt balanced and fresh.
My lunch date chose the spicy beef noodle soup, which arrived in a giant bowl and was impressively hot temperature-wise. The broth had deep, satisfying flavor, making it both comforting and bold at the same time.
We also shared a few appetizers, and they were definite standouts. The shrimp spring rolls were a hit, especially paired with the very tasty peanut sauce. The seafood egg rolls were equally enjoyable, with great flavor and a sweet chili dipping sauce that complemented them perfectly.
To drink, I tried the sea salt coffee, which was thick, rich, and indulgent. It struck a great balance between salty and sweet, with an intense mocha flavor that made it feel like a treat rather than just a beverage.
On top of the great food, the staff was incredibly attentive, and everything was brought out impressively fast without feeling rushed. All in all, Thành Tâm made a fantastic first impression. Between the authenticity, thoughtful presentation, and excellent service, we’ll definitely be visiting again very soon—and we’re excited to explore more of the menu next time.

This place is 100% Vietnamese approved. Our group of 4 came in on the first day of the year and we LOVED our experience.
First of all, Vietnamese Steak and Egg (Bánh Mì Bò Né) was divine. It is one of my favorite dishes from home, yet I haven’t had it for a long time because it’s not commonly sold in US restaurants. This place DELIVERED. We destroyed the dish in no time.
Did I mention they made their bread in-house? The bread is airy and fluffy, and baked to the perfect crunchiness!
I also recommend Thanh Tam special rolls for appetizers (similar to Summer rolls but with special Vietnamese grilled sausages).
In terms of cleanliness, the entire restaurant is very clean. The bathroom is spotless, and the dining area is well lit and well organized. The utensils are metal and wrapped in paper bags.
Lastly, the staffs are friendly, smiley, and constantly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
Every single detail in this restaurant is nicely done. If you are in the area, I highly recommend dining here for yummy Việt food!

Went to the grand opening of Thành Tâm Sandwhiches and Treats last night for dinner and was totally worth it. First day was packed but staff was very friendly. The Banh Mi best in town and reminds me ones get back home in Jacksonville or a big city. Gỏi cuốn (Summer rolls) delicious and peanut a little spicy. The Pho was on point and was giving a fresh sugarcane juice .

-an ube coffee (one of, if not THE best coffee I’ve ever had – excellent if you’re a fan of strong coffee)
-combination Pho (presentation was stunning, I ate the whole bowl which was a very generous size)
-black dragon milk tea (a myriad of sweet, unique, and delicious flavors).
The decor was also fantastic with a red carpet leading to the counter. I’m so glad they opened this restaurant and it was a wonderful Christmas present to myself. Can’t wait to try more of their menu.
Do yourself a favor and go check it out!!!

A lovely experience from beginning to end! Tucked away in a little shopping center (behind Bumpa’s) lies a hidden Vietnamese gem. We tried the spicy beef noodle soup, house special spring rolls, and house special bhat mi sandwich served on house made roll. The food was fresh and flavorful – a feast for the eyes and stomach. The service was delightful and helpful when asked for suggestions. Planning to return soon to experience more of their menu.

This place is an absolute must visit! The atmosphere and staff are incredibly welcoming, and the food is amazing. We’ve been talking about trying it ever since they opened and finally stopped in for a midday snack. We went in just for the banh mi but couldn’t resist ordering a regular-size pho too.
