This is the best Indian restaurant I have been to in the entire RDU area (and I’ve been to 10+ in the last six months). I had the saag and makkiki roti and it was so rich and delicious. The people I was with got the vegetarian thaili, chili paneer, aloo tiki chaat, and gobi Manchurian and they were all delicious. A lot of the menu is gluten free too! I will definitely be back and am excited to try their lunch buffet! Note that you may have to wait a bit for food, but that’s because it is fresh and the taste makes it worth the wait.

We ended up having their buffet. As Vegetarians, we found their dishes to be quite delicious. Nothing too spicy or oily but quite flavorful and fresh. We didn’t try any non-veg dishes (there were 4 of them). The host was really nice and she added a personal touch by getting us fresh chapati (as we didn’t want any readily available naan). Ambience was nice and cozy (nothing flashy).
I wish the buffet pricing was clearly advertised on the website, as it is quite a value in RTP area (we got to know about $16 lunch buffet Monday-Thursday and $18 Friday-Sunday).
Special deal for vegetarian-only made it worth.

Food was delicious and we were well taken care of. I strongly recommend ordering a thali to get a good sample of the menu at an affordable price.

Went for the lunch buffet and loved it so much that I went again the next day and loved it just as much. Amazing buffet selection; highly recommend the nonveg options (the tandoori chicken was incredible), and loved the wide variety of veg options. The buffet’s veg options were different both days. Tasted just like home (so you know you’re getting authentic Indian food) and service was great. Naans were warm and tasty. Highly recommend as a great lunch/dinner spot if you’re in the RTP area.

Went to Thali on Saturday for their lunch buffet….and it was amazing, as always. They have the freshest naans in town. Their buffet selection is always healthy. The food items are delicious and sufficient for the price you pay. It’s not over crowded with appetizers or 3-4 different rice items like some other restaurant…..they serve solid healthy food. The food is neither too creamy nor is it too salty. It reminds of home cooking. Truly a hidden gem and the best North Indian cuisine in Triangle.

Amazing food. Curries were delicious. Medium level spice was a little mild for me but present. “Perfect amount of garlic on the naan” – My Wife.
Peshwari naan was new to me. Very gentle sweet flavor. I don’t like coconut very much but it tasted great in this.
Can’t wait to go back and try more.

We found our new favorite Indian food in the triangle!! Which honestly says a lot. From the moment we stepped in, we felt like family. They were so welcoming! And then the food…. WOW the food. We got samosa chaat, non-veg Thali (which they even let us modify because we don’t eat goat), tandoor chicken (came out sizzling, covered with sinfully delicious onions), and the chole batura (a new dish for us and we were so happy to have tried it)!! Everything was truly so yummy! We will certainly be back

The best Indian restaurant in North Carolina and beyond!
My husband and I have been to countless Indian restaurants all over the world, and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. The food is incredibly fresh and prepared exactly to your liking. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is simply outstanding.
We ended up coming back several times in just one week, even though there are other restaurants nearby, we wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. We’ll definitely keep coming back !!!!

The weekend buffet was disappointing. There were only three non-vegetarian items and five or six vegetarian options. The naan was good when freshly served, but the second batch felt more like deep-fried bread. I did not expect much from the biryani at a North Indian restaurant, but the chicken was undercooked and had an unpleasant smell. All three non-vegetarian dishes felt undercooked and biryani with lot of masala.
Samosa was good, the chole was bland, gulab jamun taste was ok but it was so rubbery and the dal was oddly sweet. In hindsight, sticking to parathas would have been a better choice. I have had much better North Indian food elsewhere. This place has room for improvement.
